Yeah, the Korean protoss and Korean terrans are simply better, more skilled and more handsome than the zerg players. Has nothing to do with balance at all. Just like all terran players were just simply way better at the release (yes some seriously believed that) and after countless of nerfs they still are doing good. All smart Koreans pick terran/toss, yeah seems legit.
Toss got buffs to help them out to do well and then we started to see them in GSL. 1/1/1 was insanely strong and blizzard nerfed them. And the fact that there were like 20+ terrans every GSL didn't help when 1/1/1 was so good.
If you look how few zergs there has been in Code S for a long time you will see that there are barely any in the r16 EVER. But for some reason zerg always has a hero that breaks through and wins even though it's tough. Just like Fruitdealer did season 1. Nestea did 3 times (was like 28 terrans 4 zergs and 4 toss or something and he still wins) Leenock reached the final and DRG won last season. Was 3 zergs in the top 16. 1 zerg in top 8 and he still wins. So yeah, zerg always have their savior that seem to manage to win the entire tournament but the race overall is doing horribly.
Hope you realize how stupid that argument is >_>

If Zergs are still sucking in 6 months, then fine...using current race numbers as argument for balance is anecdotal at best.

The race overall is doing just fine, but Code S is pretty disheartening as a zerg yes.

If Z players do manage to consistently win then it does seem to indicate some sort of issue with come of the current players. Protoss has had the least tournament wins in GSL and I believe globally. So when that was combined with low win rates and few players making it through, it was seen as a large problem.
Last month I believe Z still had a better win rate than P, and showed an advantage for the first time in ZvT. And as you said, Z players have still shown they can make it deep in most tournaments and even win them often enough. So it seems preemptive to scream imba too soon.

I'm guessing Genius takes Leenock or Maru, Parting takes Maru or StC, MC takes Leenock or July, and MKP picks MVP.

Pretty much my prediction except MKP (Cause I have no idea)

Group selection always makes me think about the time Jinro picked a tough opponent for HuK and then was told he couldn't retrack! LOL He was made to sweat for so long before GOM finally gave in.

if a protoss doesn't win this season i will be really surprised. I hope mkp can do it but i doubt it. And MVP's tvp is probably his worst match up and he isn't in his best shape so squirtle hwaiting! (if squirtle doesn't win i'm sure parting will)

Woww 5 startale players. That's really good for their team!

There is just no way MKP is stupid enough to tempt fate that badly. He has to know this is his best chance to win a GSL so why would he pick one person who can stop him.
