Looking at these players, the best possible (and most worthy) final would be Parting vs MKP, they are both so fucking good at the matchup.

No good Korean Zergs right now. Toss was doing well for a few months before we finally started seeing Protoss success in GSL, and Zergs are arguably dominating the foreign scene. Give it time before calling balance.

This might be slightly off, but Map Win Rate by MU

TvP
13-15, 46.4%
TvZ
12-13, 48%
PvZ
12-4, 75%

now you know where all the zerg have gone. But TvP seems to still be a very close matchup, while these stats of course contain the triple upset with Supernova > Genius, Maru > Hero and Virus > MC. For Protoss there were no such upsets over terran players, since the terran favorites were mostly stable this season (with Jjakji losing to taeja being ok, leaves MMA as the only real terran disappointment). Terran is maybe not the strongest race by definition, but top terran players seem to be the most crisis-safe. will be an intesting Ro16 and an interesting ceremony. The lack of zerg players is the only setback here .

What foreign players do isn't relevant to balance

If you make that argument then nothing Korean players do is relevant to balance. SC2 is still lightyears away from the level of refinement you need in players to truly argue balance. All you have is what you're given. There's a gap, for sure, but it's not *that* big.

TBH nobody can really say that nestea/drg and some of the other code s zerg deserve to move on this season. Even if they are incredibly good players they produced some AWFUL games in their code-s round of 32 spots.

It's been pretty gigantic lately. No foreigners in ro8 of Iron Squid even with latency favoring them, Aside from Huk and Naniwa they got crushed at the MLGs. No foreginers got through open bracket at IPL4 and two of the ones that got seeded to pool play got 0-4'd. Even Stephano the foreign "hope" doesn't even have a 50% winrate vs Koreans. Koreans taking top 2 spots at both IEMs this year and HSC4.

Beside MKP, every terran who made it are average TvPer, and both zerg are bad ZvPer. <<

I do not think you can say that Taeja, TheSTC and Supernova are average TvP'ers. If that were the case, TvP would seem incredibly Terran favored.

oGs Terran are incredebly inconsistent in TvP.
One day they look very good, like MKP/Jjakji level. Other day they get beaten haaaard.

Specially Supernova. The guy lose all confidence in standart play in this match up.

All 8 group winners came from just 3 teams. 4 StartaleQ, 2 Prime, 2 oGs. I found that interesting.

Because TvT is better than PvWhatever, obviously.
