That is a very nice interview to read for someone who is not a Naniwa fan per se. Just mature, well thought out responses and I guess what I would want to hear?

Anyway, huge wins for him today and huge congratulations are in order. Although having a seed is an unfair advantage, what he did with it was stellar.

It must feel bad for the Korean players when they effectively lose a spot to a foreigner seed, but obviously this isn't Naniwas fault personally.

He played well today so he justified it I guess.

To be fair he earned a seed through MLG once that he never got to use really.

Why didn't he thank his sponsors?

I know, right? It felt so weird to end the translation without the usual sponsor thanking.

He probably just forgot about it, happens to everybody from time to time.

Either the translation or Naniwa has become very humble, like it either way! :D

As you said it's not his fault, and if he choose not to accept the seed GOM would give it to another foreigner anyway.
So why decline? ^_^

I've had a neutral stance on Naniwa all along but always respected his skill, and I suspect there's a lot of other fans like this as well. Now he is winning me (us?) over more and more. Well done Naniwa.

If he really means what he has overall said in this interview he has gained a fan in me, and that is something I REALLY never saw coming.
So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie
