Why'd you remove Idra from your sig?

Because I don't like him like I used to. Sig was half a year old and I haven't had been bothered to remove it until you pointed it out. Wasn't this obvious already?

I like him because, to me, he seems like someone that's extremely motivated and focused on the game, but who sometimes does stupid stuff that he later realizes was stupid. I haven't been following him since Warcraft days, so I don't know what he was like then, but in SC2 he just seems a bit awkward, like he comes off worse than he intends. I don't know, I could be wrong, but I used to be like that when I was younger (hell, when I was his age) -- I'd say things that (I later realized) sounded really mean and rude, but I totally didn't have that intention, I was just clueless and awkward. I kind of see something similar in him, so I sympathize, and I hope that he continues to grow and mature personally as he keeps getting better at the game. I mean, look at this interview for example -- what part of it seems childish to you? He sounds fairly mild and modest to me, acknowledging that he's earned a bad reputation and that he didn't really deserve a Code S seed, but is just trying to play his best although he has a lot to learn. Eh, I don't know -- it's fine to not like the guy, but I don't really get the near-hatred that some people refuse to give up on. I know it's just the forums and people just like to talk and exaggerate, but still. Maybe if I had followed the Warcraft scene I'd get it more. At any rate, hopefully Nani keeps playing well and growing up and doesn't do anything to earn more of a bad image. Do you see what he wrote on TL last week that got him temp banned? did you know IdrA banned like 3-5 times on TL.(not temp)
Summary: I don't like naniwa because the way he acts. IdrA isn't nearly as bad as naniwa in my opinion. Still don't like idra, either.

Like I posted before. http://i.imgur.com/LtMEu.png and that incident when he called MLG a joke on the mainstage AT the tournament. There are tons of examples but i'm not going to waste my time finding all the screenshots. It's really bizarre to me that people turn a blindeye to all of the shit he does just because hes a foreigner from europe. If he was American, i'd bet europeans would hate him.

Not irony. Sorry, that annoys me. ^__^
You know what's ironic? Correcting someone on the use of the word irony and being wrong. "Situational irony entails a certain incongruity between what a person says, believes, or does and how, unbeknownst to that person, things actually are."
http://grammar.about.com/od/tz/g/situationalironyterm.htm
Also to quote something from your link: "The essential feature of irony is the indirect presentation of a contradiction between an action or expression and the context in which it occurs."
And lastly, Congratulations to Naniwa, finally a seed put to good use!

I believe it's a maturity thing, being able to see the difference between insignificant acts of bad manner and what actually matters. While I don't condone flaming or hating, It doesn't matter to me. The things that actually did matter, like the probe-rush, is something he has been regretful of and has apologized for, I don't see why I should hold that against him, especially since I never minded in the first place. Also he is a funny guy, proved on Huks stream, TL Attack with Thorzain etc.
The people that goes ballistic over BM and still is a Naniwa-fan can speak for themselves.

I fear that this could be the season of the protoss
I hope for a terran to end this nightmare! I'm placing my hopes on MKP!

Naniwa seemed more self deprecating than humble, and I get he's trying to win over Korean fans but it seems strange. What happened to the only goal being a championship?

MVP fighting! thanks to thisgame for being professional enough to interview naniwa...
|
so anyone know any more about MVP's potential disk problem? I hope he can figure it out and return to form for good. glad he advanced

Hahahaha, somewhere MKP is staring at his screen in shock.
I really hope MVP gets better soon, he's just a pleasure to watch when he's not bothered by his health problems.

Oh and about the whole not focusing on the image thing.. Could've at least washed his shirt! It was all dirty, had some white stuff on his shoulder.
Not only wash his shirt, but wash his hair! Damn man that hair looks nasty dirty. He must have just been playing so much to prepare for tonights games that he didn't shower :D
Oh well, Naniwa you are awesome!

Really glad that MVP advanced but I want him to get better first. Hope he recovers soon because I would hate to see him not able to play due to his injury. Glad that Naniwa advanced but would have loved to see Puzzle advanced rather than Naniwa.

Glad that Naniwa isn't cocky and respects himself and the koreans enough to admit that he'd be easily beaten by higher level koreans.
