whats ur opinion on Fraer, Titan and Major being so low?

everyone who watched a few replays of Titan or Fraer or takes a look at ladderrankings from time to time knows they are incredibly good

For me, the most impressive of each race have to be Mvp, NesTea and MC.
Mvp being the scariest player I've ever seen after GSL August.

I'd get bombed with hate from fanboys if I named specific.
Lets just say all the hyped and "up and coming" players are..not that good and"meh he's ok, been here long time" players are much better than people think.

Lucifron might be one of the most underrated player in this topic. The kind of guy not playing that much beside some cg and rolling over people when he shows up. I'd just like to see him playing serious like most of others progamers. Also, agree about the Titan,/Fraer thing, they are really good but, at the moment, they aren't used to offline events and aren't scary yet.

Sorry, but this is basically just a name recognition thread/popularity contest for the most part.

how many times have we heard the line "when x starts playing more they will dominate"
zzzz. when he does something he will be considered good, he doesnt get to be called good because hes mediocre on 2 hours a day.

This is pretty much why this kind of polls are bad.
Here you go buddy, mediocre player right here http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/The_Gathering_2012

The groups are a bit retarded. Kas and thorzain in the same group, dima nerchio and ret in same group etc
|
"scariest" as in having the highest winrate in all their MU's or....?

But I think you mean that Snute should be in a tougher poll (I agree, much as I love Snute, the Nerchio/Ret/Sheth poll is ridiculous). Personally, I also have a real problem with the HasuObs poll (put SaSe in here and he wins hands down. At any rate, fraer might be the best as it stands) and the voting in the SjoW poll (LucifroN 100%). But that's just me, carry on.
Also, Beasty actually deserves more votes.

The groups are pretty messed up I think, some of the closer top ones should have another round of voting like if two are over 25% or something and combine groups... Either way Flash is still scariest SC2 player. (I do realize he doesn't even play yet, but imagine if MMA played him first round in a tournament, who would be more scared?)

The scariest players are the ones that regularly mix in cheeses. MC for protoss, July (whom is on a strong run atm) for zerg, and I guess Alive for terran. With Terran it seems like ALL the top players cheese quite often but I feel that Alive does it maybe a little more so than others.

haha I find it funny how close each foreign group (Stephano excluded) is compared to the Koreans where each group with the exception of one is one sided.

Sen and idra in the same group . I'm also surprised Sheth has so few votes

I think a lot of people remember how he got roflstomped against koreans in dh valencia. The gathering didn't have that many top tier players in it. I didn't personally watch it, so I have no clue how he played (he might've been godlike), but on paper it doesn't look that super impressive.

There's another thread for that. Flash is not a SC2 player, and thus disqualified from this thread.

How do you guys want me to do groups for the ones who advance?
A1A2B1B2 C1C2D1D2 or A1A2D1D2 B1B2C1C2 or A1B1C2D2 A2B2C1D1 or A1D1B2C2 A2D2B1C1

He did get crushed: By DRG in the first round. He basically had no chance to show his true ability because right off the bat he was up against a player much, much better than him. I don't think DH Valencia is the best indicator of Lucifron's skill.
Every player looks bad when they go against one of the world's best. Just this weekend, MMA made Stephano look absolutely silly, even though Stephano had just crushed ST Bomber (a very strong TvZ player) 2-0. Of course, we all know Stephano is better than how he looked against MMA.
