Seriously? How? By ditching Slayers and joining Liquid? If people here actually had followed even one sport in their entire life they wouldnt whine that much.. This... Sports are a business. Players are commodities. Goods. Items. They get traded all the time.
Plus, players are trying to maximize income. And you do that by utilizing competition. No contract --> best deal gets you. (quality of living/perks aside)

EGJjakji. DRG is taken by coLMVP, Genius is taken by coLMVP, Leenock is taken by FXO, and MKP leaving Prime is just weird. That leaves Jjakji as the last recruitable high ELO.

What about MMA, MVP and Nestea?

Excellent pickup, Teaja is so much fun to watch

now you only need 9 rings

MMA is Slayers' flagship and Boxer's protege. I don't think he's recruitable.
MVP is in a huge slump.
EGNestea, though... Nestea and IdrA on the same team -> epic lulz?

Congratz to TL. I hope he'll fit in well.

From what I hear, Nestea never loses in practice, he'd be an amazing practice partner for EG.

imo this is the beginnings of a TL code S championship win. Nice catch.

Important question that I believe hasn't been covered yet.
Are you going to delay the liquid documentary to include Taeja or is the footage from IPL4 enough?
|
I'm happy for TL finally having a good terran player. They lacked in this dept with jinro's never ending slump. now its time for GSTL run!
|
My goodness. It's redundant but I'll say it again, fantastic pickup!
The best player available, you got what you needed, relatively unproven so his value/salary is low, but his talent is undeniable.
I also hope that this makes Jinro work ten times harder!

I don't like where this is going, on which I belive will agree with me group of more country on country competition fans. In this cas of course the grand dish is Korea vs. Rest of the World. So you want teams to ignore promising Korean free agents because they are Korean? If people want their beloved foreigner teams to stay foreigner-only, then foreigners need to play better so that there is no incentive to recruit Korean talent. TaeJa is easily a top 10 worldwide Terran (an argument could be made for top 5, although it's crowded up there) and has most of his career ahead of him. This is a great pickup and helps strengthen the Terran lineup of Liquid. Jinro has been oh so lonely since TLO switched back to Zerg. GL to TaeJa and Liquid~!
Foreigners aren't going to get better when they have no hope of receiving support and investment from foreigner teams until they are as good as Code S Koreans - and that's not going to happen without training in a team house.
It's one more nail in the coffin for the foreigner's scene. People who think this is going to make foreigners practice harder are very naive - the way foreigners dealt with the lack of support in BW was... By not playing. Then BW ceased being an international eSport. SC 2 is going the same way.

Lol. Liquid needed a Terran so badly. But picking up taeja...what a pickup.
|
Sweet pickup for TL! =D glhf~

I thought coL got him aswell :p
edit* Nice btw, 3 korean players with different races

OHHHHH MY GOOOOD! Big ups for Liquid huuuuge!
