Also, if there's a chance for me to see ZerO beat everyone's face in BW and SC2 in the same day, that'd be great :D.

I'd go with you'll see the existing pro league players playing both BW and 'some' SCII only events through kespa and pro league. For gomtv and those associated with the GSL it will be business as usual. The REAL question becomes can pro league be profitable enough to lure talent away from GOMTV and the GSL, or would they simply co-exist side by side. The exact opposite could be said as well should SCII not go over as well for pro league. Knowing their formats I find it unlikely a player could play in both if they run at the same time, so should this happen at minimum it would be interesting to watch as far as the player pool goes, who ends up where.

Every team had license 'exceptions' they could give out; not sure whether they were given a yearly/lifetime allowance or in what manner they functioned.

Worst comes to worst and the two leagues can't get along, KeSPA picks 8 players who support them, GOM picks 8 players who support them, and they have a massive Bo3 per player Bo15 team league style battle to decide the fate of e-sports. Winner stays, loser can never hold a SC2 tournament again. Think Team WWF vs Team Alliance.

To say that GOMTV can rival OGN is just silly. Plus they're going to have the better players. Unfortunately.

If ratings for BW are still stable, and SC2 ratings are only gradually rising (as I've seen claimed), I don't foresee BW proleague going under yet.

GOM should get a bunch of the MBC guys on their team to prepare to compete with OGN. I know that they've already hired at least one caster, but they need the background people as well.
