Wow, huge loss for SlayerS - Taeja is one of their best players IMO. Kinda sad he's leaving, I enjoyed the storyline he created when he fought for BoxeR's Code S spot. But it'll be cool to see him in foreign tournaments.

it seems like players on Korean teams don't earn anything unless they win some big tournaments. so not a bad move for himself imo.

I don't know if TaeJa gave anyone permission to publish his team movement. I'm going to speak to TaeJa before I continue in this thread, and see what he wants people to know. TaeJa is a very shy and reserved person, so respecting his wishes for privacy will be the priority.

Given the opportunity to travel the entire world to various different events and compete for favor of a global community as opposed to an insular community with, sure, lots of fans, but just not nearly as much pay-off or appreciation as is possible for someone of your caliber?

i still dont know how u cant understand that @ slayers hes just a team meber dont rl get payd trips and isnt a "star"
if he joins a foreign team he probally is the aceplayer getting the most attention will be able to play more majo foreign events!

On SlayerS he is just "another awesome SlayerS terran". On a foreign team he's an ace or top top top player for the team. It's sort of like Axslav and EG.

Liquid does need another Terran, Jinro is their only one, and he's been slumping. Dignitas, on the other hand, needs to get a player to replace Sjow, and Taeja could do just that.
