Only he should be able to criticise himself? Ever heard of crime and punishment?

Dragon cheated repeatedly in tournaments and should be banned from tournaments for a period of time.

Again with the false statements, dragon cheated repeatedly? Where has this been confirmed? People like you just use absolute fake and made up statements to try to enforce their already failed arguements

And yes, only he should criticise himself, this is sports not society, people cheat constantly over all sorts of sports, dont try to relate this to an actual crime, thats just silly.

I agree that people are overreacting over this Dragon drama, but your ill-informed posts are doing him more harm than good.

Yes, he cheated, but only one instance is proven so we can't say he did it repeatedly in tournaments.

But that doesn't mean he can't be criticized, because as much as you'd like to think sports is in a bubble, all professional sports also abide by the rules of society. Individual sports have their own rules, and in none of these sports is cheating ok. Just because cheating occurs in other sports does not mean it is okay; cheating in other sports is reprimanded heavily, in fact.

Dragon deserves a second chance, I agree, but he should prove himself first before society should be expected to forgive him. His stream antics do not hold any value in this case.

tl;dr I agree people are being too hard on him and he should be allowed to try to redeem himself, but you sir, are not being very intelligent in your arguments.

I'ts funny because if you look at the drama that Jessica makes, you almost begin to wonder why Dragon really left SlayerS...

Maybe, it was because there was too much sexual tension between Jessica and Dragon and thats why he left. Now Dragon will have homosex with Stephano and that made her very jealous.

If you don't like Dragon or what he may or may not have done, then dont support him... that's all I'm going to say about that.

One thing I always wondered about was what was Dragon's contract situation with SlayerS. It seems like they didn't regard his talent that high even after the GSL appearance. He always mentioned moving into the team house but never did... maybe they just didn't treat him that well?..you can see by Jessica's twitter posts the type of respect they had for him apparently. This would be a different matter if he breached his contract or something of that sort, but it doesn't sound like the case...SlayerS probably didn't think he was worth what he thought he was worth, remember that from a business prospective viewers mean a lot, and he was having over 1.5k fairly consistently.

My opinion was that SlayerS tried to low ball him, or took him for granted, and Mill came and scooped him up.

Always been a Dragon fan, just for the fun stuff he does...sometimes SC2 gets too serious.

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Dragon#Controversy

"In the first round of the tournament, he played against TheStC and won. Soon after the match, TheStC wrote in PlayXP that 'Seo Yeon Ji used absurd counter build order without scouting. I know that Seo Yeon Ji is MioWerra’s smurf account and MioWerra has been doing stream-cheating online.' After speaking with TheStC and members of WeRRa, Dragon publicly apologized to TheStC, members of oGs and WeRRa. After Dragon was accused of maphacking, streamcheating and match fixing on PlayXP-forums, he then replied that 'he was sorry for what he had done' but didn't go into detail which parts of the allegations were true. Furthermore he stated that he would 'never dream of other tournaments, televised matches, or pursue a career as a pro-gamer.'

"WeRRa’s clan master Gundam and vice clan master Cella also apologized publicly and Dragon was expelled from WeRRa. WeRRa disbanded a month later, after another scandal surrounding its clan master Gundam.

"After getting expelled from WeRRa, Dragon joined SlayerS clan. He succeeded in qualifying for GSL 3 In November 2010 which led to a public outcry. Despite public pressure, GOMTV took no action against him. After getting eliminated by NesTea in the first round, he wrote an apology for breaking his earlier promise."

So yeah. It's pretty common knowledge that he used to cheat a lot.

Oh really? The only thing that was confirmed was that he stream cheated, and no one said he stream cheated more than one time

Thanks for being clear that you're giving an opinion. There are too many posters, IMO, who don't know the line between facts and opinions.

Mine is a bit different. Dragon's originally stated reason for leaving was that he was retiring from pro gaming (for the second time). Less than two weeks later, he announced that he was looking for a team. That's pretty shady, and I can definitely understand why Jessica is upset. If she actually did respect Dragon as a dude and as a player, then that would make his method of leaving - retiring, coming back and signing with a different team, all within a month - that much more upsetting.

Wait, what? Did you even read that? It's 100% confirmed that he cheated in a tournament. TheSTC and other members of oGs were also certain that he'd been cheating on the ladder. So that's, uh, more than one time. He was also accused of maphacking and match fixing. While those haven't been proven, he also didn't deny them when he issued an apology and retired from pro gaming forever (for the first time).

Well, considering that he never made it into GSL ever since, maybe they were right to not regard his talend that highly?
Regarding the other things in your post, you might be right, or might not.
