Im a fan of dragon and I love his stream but this is just fan boys crying over the truth. I know its blunt and the truth hurts but you cant punish him for being honest O.O. You can say you dont like his cast and its unproffessional but he hasn't done anything thats worth punishment =.= its the same shit with naniwa/ nestea situation. our reaction is actually what is hurtting esports because forced and fake polite manners with our pussy clenched dont bring entertainment. And this is exactly why the situation needed to be taken as seriously as it has been. People like CarelessPride are coming away thinking that what was said was true when in fact it was not. Dragon is not banned from tournaments. Dragon was not kicked out of Slayers. And yet, many people who saw the stream are going to come away thinking it's all true. And many are only going to read comments like this and come away thinking it's all true.

Apparently, Dragon's apologies were not quite as sincere as we would be led to believe. When he stated that he would "never dream of other tournaments, televised matches, or pursue a career as a pro-gamer." He never even decided to leave the professional gaming scene to begin with. I think anything more than that is distracting from what Katu actually said which is, put in very simple terms,: Dragon might be stream cheating. Not to ridiculous because he got kicked off of SlayerS for cheating. Oh he must be cheating what other explanation is there for him lagging? That's what I got out of listening to what he said. If this is the first incident that he has had on stream for playhem I think he deserves a second chance with a big emphasis on something like this never happening again. If something inappropriate has happened with him on Playhem's stream before than he deserves to be kicked off their casting team. Looking at it from any other leagues PoV you should talk to him and make sure he really knows that something like this is completely unacceptable to do on stream. Just my 2 cents. Cheers.

Since everything is a troll and a joke right? So many foreigners are so obsessed with being the cool dude in the class on the internet by trolling that it is one of the big reasons the community is what it is. I find it sad how many peoples goal in life is to be a big cool internet troll, I mean it was funny 5 years ago but it's getting old.

As entertaining and amusing as he is I don't see why he is allowed to compete in online tournaments when he never even admitted to what hack or streamcheat he used. Oh and as for people saying there were X-thousand people watching his stream. It's called a 2nd monitor. It really isn't hard to streamcheat even with a webcam on you. In summary sure Katu was harsh but meh Dragon's apology was completely insincere and he never even admitted what he was apologising for. Now he joins online tournaments and apparently was doing some very suspect play and a very tired Katu made some unprofessional comments. Katu should be punished because if he's allowed in the tournament you don't wait until the finals to start accusing him of hacking. But it should be relatively minor. Katu is a good caster and I want to see him continue casting playhem.

He was accused of streamcheating or hacking in some regards and apologised without ever stating what he was apologising for. He also said he wouldn't play any more tournaments or pursue any professional gaming career. Why is he even allowed to play this tournament? The Korean community was pretty mad when Mr Chae let him play GSL after he said he would never progame again. Katu is a good caster and I want to see him continue casting playhem. Thing is, if you watch Dragon's stream regularly, most of the things he did in the tournament is what he always does on ladder, where there is no stream cheating possible. So to people who watch Dragon's stream, he didn't do anything different or special. And Dragon could be lagging cause he's in korea, and lives at home, not in a sc2 team house with amazing internet. But at the same time I guess we might not know all the facts that happened during Playhem. But at this point it is very hard to call Dragon a stream cheater or hacker, thats why everyone is focusing on Katu.

Amazing, or maybe not, how many people come away from this believing the lies mixed in with truth, then repeat them, add new lies... and on it goes. To say Dragon's reputation has not been hurt by this would be ridiculous.

I've received plenty of messages making sure Katu will continue to cast with us in the future, and he's gotten a lot of support on his Twitter. I wouldn't worry about his career coming to an end or anything. Thousands of viewers who left the stream following the incident aren't just a "vocal minority". When Katu insults, disrespects, and just shits on viewers in your streams, you will appreciate the gravity of the matter. I'm not a Dragon fan. I'm a concerned member of the e-sports community that felt offended by the complete mockery of viewers. Light-hearted trolling is fun. Laughing derisively at viewers, telling them to "eat it", is simply not. It's not a clear cut line, I appreciate that, but Katu clearly crossed the line. His co-caster felt that way, Playhem felt that way. I can bet that if he casts for you in the future, you will have him guard his behaviour. And I'm alright with that. I want to reiterate that I have accepted Katu's apology (for what it's worth). But I won't stand for anyone minimizing this insult as a concern only for the "vocal minority."
