Not sure why people don't like the casters, at the least TB and dApollo are great, although I personally like everyone on the list.

Look at allegiant (if they service an airport near you) if you haven't.

United was 750, allegiant was ~200

I know that driving would probably cost 200 in gas alone for round trip.. especially when gas starts to climb more.

~840 miles, ~25 gallons with my car's ~34 mpg highway. 4 dollars per gallon.. that's 100 right there.

That's a 12 hour drive though =\
I can barely put up with the 8 hour drive between school and home.
