Statement from Aleksandr 'Acer | Bly' Svusuyk:
'Hello to all, I am very happy to join such a good team like team Acer. Lately I've shown some good results in regular cups and with such a great support from team Acer I am sure to do even better in the future. Additional to that, I love to practice and play along with players like Nerchio and Elfi - who I know very well because I've been in a team with Elfi before already. I will try to improve matchups and results more and more, so follow me in future and have fun  '

I'm happy Bly got picked up =). I watch him practice on Kas' stream and he's pretty good man. But Acer is going all out with the Zergs haha. I wonder if everyone is a ZvZ God after in-team practices.

I think mondi is the most biased manager out there. He would live in a zerg world if he could. Aside from that. I also think hes the best manager out there cant wait for aCER to explode ToT status~

They can probably live of their salary since this was pretty much the reasons both elfi and bly left their former teams. Although it seems to be a common pattern that all the acer players are studying (nerchio, elfi, bly, darkhydra). But I'm pretty sure that BLY mentioned in his interview with definitive esports that he was going fulltime this year.

He joined Acer as a Team-Manager, not as a player, as stated both from him and Acer.
But as a player he qualified for EPS, so there is still the possibility to see him as player

bly was actually pretty damn good in wc3, underrated and bm so people didnt pay him much attention but he was good. i remember his apm was really really high for a non-super-top wc3 player.

On-topic: Nice pickup for Acer even though this only reinforces them more as a Zerg Team. Curious when they are going to expand their other races which will make them a more complete team. Having said that though the players do need to be available.
