They also won an MLG with HuK and have pretty decent result with Tarson and DieStar. Adelscott won almost all french lan last season and did some result ( beat MVP in TSL, 3rd assembly , top8 dreamhack); then ToD won some cup too. Ps : And yes, few people remember that fact but HuK won MLG for Millenium before switch to TeamLiquid.

You spend your time to express your hate about Millenium, but in fact...you don't even know them... HuK was Millenium, won an MLG, and then joined TeamLiquid because he wanted to go in Korea and now EG.

While Mandarin beats out English quite handsomley in number of native speakers, there are quite a few more people who speak English in some form than people who speak Mandarin in some form. Don't want to keep harping on this, but it's annoying to see ethnocentric opinions being spread around like facts. Mandarin still wins when you count non-native speakers as well. Obviously everything is in estimates, but even in the best reports saying that Mandarin is in the lead by a very, very large margin. Too put it into perspective, there are roughly 300-400 million native English speakers in the World. To match the estimated Mandarin speakers (Native and non-native) under the most conservative numbers, you'd have to triple that amount. AKA, the number of people speaking fluent English as a second/third language need to outnumber the native English speakers by more than double.

There's a big difference between speaking english/mandarin fluently as a second/third language, and speaking english/mandarin in some form. Just want to point that out. Also, I'm quite sure there are more people in this planet that can make themself understood in english, than mandarin. I have a feeling you are forgetting to take account of all those who use english, but don't appear in statistics. Take Times of India as an example, it has the largest daily circulation among all English-language newspaper in the world, even though only a quarter of a million in India use english as a mother tounge. You should always be very wary of using statistics when it comes to language, because there's a high amount of uncertanity.

English may only be the second most spoken language in the world but look at this quote: While English doesn’t have the most speakers, it is the official language of more countries than any other language. Its speakers hail from all around the world, including New Zealand, the U.S., Australia, England, Zimbabwe, the Caribbean, Hong Kong, South Africa, and Canada. We’d tell you more about English, but you probably feel pretty comfortable with the language already. Let’s just move on to the most popular language in the world. http://listverse.com/2008/06/26/top-10-most-spoken-languages-in-the-world/ It's pretty clear to me that when the developed part of the world decides to have just one language (in a hundred or so years, most likely) it will indeed be English...

If you're talking about which language has the largest amount of native speakers it would not be English. But English is certainly the most widely-spoken.
