Aye. Either DOTA or that expansion blizzard is planning for WoW.
I guess this means we wont see LotV until... 2016?17?

OMG! So frustrating... I can't get it to work! I click on media player and a white window just pops up and nothing happens... has anything else been said other than hots being pushed to 2k13?
|
Did I just hear "no front line releases in the first quarter of 2012"?

(1.5M elite subscribers) As a shareholder, at first I was glad to see the number was still at 10.2, but then i noticed the older report date and was a little suspicious. The number does seem to have stopped falling though since last quarter though. SWTOR came out 12/20... so if you played WoW up until then, you didn't cancel until after 12/31. WoW is the gaming industry crown jewel, without it ATVI has a hard time commanding its current market cap. 10 million monthly re-occurring revenue customers is a phenomena not yet repeated in gaming.
Take this FWIW, but my brother (who's way into the MMO scene) always says the number of paying subscribers is closer to half that number. He says they inflate it with free offers, counting accounts which aren't currently paying, and a bunch of other tricks. However, I'd love to hear more informed people talk on the subject.

What the fuck, how can they possibly justify a delay to 2013? How hard can it be to whip out a silly little campaign?
They had a lot to show back at Blizzcon, its half a year later and they say one year isn't enough to release it? Jesus...

Yes, map pack only for MW on xbox in Q1. Fun fun :D lmao

I wonder if these guys talking to the shareholders play any games themselves...

who cares, if they're right we are more than a year away from it, so we all better don't give a fuck about it. better things to do than wait 2 and a half year for some 30, oh no sry, 20 missions with bad storyline...
|
Robert Clotworthy has been recording VA work for Jim Raynor as recently as last week (source, his twitter). I have trouble believing he would record for a game that would come out a year later.
|
No Diablo 3 in march
|
It's funny cos even IF they give out some exact dates, they are NEVER on time anyway, so who cares.

Well, ya a lot of them are in china and pay for time not monthly.... whatever the number though, its the biggest revenue engine in gaming and ATVI needs it to keep going strong.

they did not used the word "starcraft 2" until now, so we will see
|
?? Did they even say 2013? It sounds like people are just assuming things.

The majority of the players doesn't buy sc2 for the campaign, lol.

Yes, but they were talking about the activision franchises, not blizz.
