no reason to keep them if following that scheme
Machine has way better results, incontrol is like their most popular guy and lzgamer switched race, give him some more time.

Where did everyone read up on that? I'd love to read up on it as well if someone could point me to where everyone is getting their information.
Or is it just all made up assumptions by people that really have no idea at all about anything they are talking about?
That one.

I hear Axslav has a team, I just hope Strifecro will get an oportunity soon.

I think Ax found really good team and by saying really good team, I mean top team on par with EG ;p, dunno about Strife but he should not have problems with finding decent NA based team.

What race did he switch to?

1) Puma, JYP, HuK and Idra all pull in above-average salaries. 2) Incontrol does a lot of publicity and community work. 3) AxSlav and Strifecro's contracts were not renewed. 4) AxSlav is already signed to a new team. 5) LzGamer and Machine are still on EG.
If there's anything that you couldn't put 2 and 2 together for on this thread, feel free to ask so itcan be clarified.

Axslav was a mistake to let go, regardless if it was financial or not - but some other team will be quick to jump on his endless knowledge and work ethic soon enough im not worried about his future in pro gaming. Best of luck to them both and excited to see if EG replace them with anyone epic

I think it is a good move from both sides, although I will miss him in EG

but before switching races what was lzgamer doing besides hanging out in the boonies anyways?
edit: and in regards to the actual thread. If there were more team leagues in the north american scene and if 2v2 was a more entertaining, more watchable game, then i could see them keeping them. But axslav and strifecro were great as a 2v2 team, and there aren't a lot of chances for them to shine these days

Completely understandable though sad for the under performing player. I guess after a long contract with a top team you're not winning...being a pro isnt for you
|
I would not be surprised to hear that Axslav simply received an offer that EG was not willing to match. Their focus has very clearly shifted away from North America and perhaps they just weren't willing to give Axslav the raise he was going to get from another team.
|
The article reads like "well, they just were not good enough, but I don't wanna say that". Sad for them, hope they find a new time, or just a new job, good luck.

Gotta get lean, gotta get mean.

I believe LzGamer is casting more than playing now. There might simply be a monetary issue - EG is meant to pay salaries to their players, and if the only money coming in from tournaments is from Idra, Huk, Puma and JYP they're going to have a problem... it's like the others are on welfare or something. Though Incontrol gets sponsorship from Gunnar for playing so his placings matter less.

So how many players remain at the EG house now? ... 3?
Unless the players wanted more than what EG was offering it feels like a strange decision. Every great team that has great players producing good results has b teamers (or squad players, like in sports).
Ah well, hopefully the house wasn't too soon and is still viable for them. Maybe we'll see some new recruits or players from other devisions/games that represent EG move in?
|
scoots made it pretty clear it simply wasn't in anyones best interest to keep them at EG, they're good players i think they'll find teams pretty easily
|
Honestly after seeing them inactive for that bit mast year im not shocked. Although they where extremely talented
|
Does this mean that its only anna and geoff gonna be at the eg house..?
