Strifecro is staying there as well, at least for the time being. He was training in the house with everyone, all of them are still good friends.

Why don't they admit they fired them? I mean, it's obvious, it's understandable but i don't get that lie.

what lie?

It is with a heavy heart that we have to see them go, but we’ll be wishing them the best in the future.”
Sounds like "They left on their own" though "We fired them" is much more likely to me

some people like it when corps say : we decided to get ride of players x and y, not: we parted ways. others think its unproff to do that, and think its best for parties to use every platitude to make it seem like everything is lovey dovey and them splitting was "best for both parties." guy you quoted is the former.

Nah, "We parted ways is perfectly fine". Having a "heavy heart" seeing them "go" is just a flourish exageration

They're sad because although they like who they are as people, EG is ultimately not a family but a business so they had to let them go. They felt that financially supporting players that did not put up enough results was not economically worth it to them.

Also, when contracts end people don't get fired, contracts just end and don't get renewed Either way I hope it gets better for anyone.

axlav is the bobcat goldthwait of esports. love the guy and can't wait till he announces his new team! Keep it up Ax!

I think Lz and Incontrol are next on the list, once their contract expires I don't think EG will renew them.

If they don't renew Inc's contract then they are out of their minds. He's an incredibly popular and articulate member of the community that brings valuable exposure to EG.

You're the five hundredth person to post this. Did you read any of the responses?

Sorry, but is there any reason mentioned why they left? For me its sound like they just muck out the "not-so" successfull players because they just invited Puma, Huk and JYP. Thats it, but thanks for this flowery alteration!
|
A good way to gauge a player's value is by how many stream viewers they get. Guys like Incontrol, Destiny, and Catz aren't going anywhere if their teams can help it.

Two main reasons:
1. Business: They didn't achieve the results that EG set out for them and they didn't have the ROI to justify bring them back on. 2ndly, EG can't justify putting resources into growing their brand when they have players like IdrA and Huk (just to name a few) and other gaming divisions to run. While this does sound kind of brutal, it does make sense, afterall, they are a business.
2. Personal: Both axslav and strifecro are excellent players by NA standards and both deserve to be on a team where more focus can be put on them. For example, Axslav has one hell of a ladder to climb on EG (huk, idra, puma, jyp).. it would be more beneficial and exciting for him to grow his brand on a team that could actually dedicate the resources to help him.

And probably not Machine either, he's too good a buddy of incontrol.
|
Well, can't say this is unexpected. LZ should be next on the list, perhaps Machine as well. Incontrol is very popular and gets the team a lot of exposure, so they might hold on to him just for that... looks like HuK, JYP and PuMa are quite expensive so not even EG affords to keep jobbers; sorry, the best 2v2 team in NA.
