They already had their WoW 3v3 team their before Blizzcon as well. I wouldn't be surprised if their DotA team ended up heading on over if it's as successful as many people think it will be. Their DotA team is currently living in China, they have no interest in a US house.

As I understand they were going to use it for EG's other teams whenever it's convenient for them to stay there for some reason (which is very unlikely) or for SlayerS players to train if they want to come early for a foreign tournament to get rid of jetlag and such (which is also unlikely considering how hectic schedules are for progamers). How many people are in the EG lair right now? 3? Demuslim, Incontrol and Machine? Idra will be back once he's finished with his time in Korea and you cannot rule out future acquisitions based in NA or other Europeans moving over like Demuslim did.

I really loved watching Axslav stream, I really hope they both manage to find a good home for themselves. I'd like to hear the players side of it though. Also, I feel like cutting all of your b-teamers isn't such a great idea... not everyone can be an S-Class, A-Team player.

He has a great tactical mind, just need to improve his mechanics. Should've kept Axslav and let go of Lz and Machine together with the already sacked StrifeCro. Anyway, hope TL or someone gets a comment from either player to clarify the situation. Although I clearly understand why, I really hate when organizations are withholding information T.T. I suspect this was a mutual agreement and that the lack of information is to make sure they don't interfere with Axslav's next team signing. It doesn't cost much to give a player 2 meals a day in a near-empty team house, but it does cost a lot to send him out to tournaments. If EG wasn't willing to send this talented player to international tournaments or even korea, then it's in both parties' interest to part ways.

They were clearly not good enough to represent a top tier e-sports organization.

That was already their offer. Axslav had stated that EG was providing him with a spot in the house and tournament support but no salary.

Not at all, "freeing up money" also mean not having to pay for travel expenses... so they can pay more to new poached players. I kinda saw it coming with the end of the year (when contracts expire), their lack of results and EG having a tradition of getting rid of weak players in other games (which every business centric team, except Liquid, does). Machine and LZ must be on the brink of being cut as well, maybe they just didn`t want to cut half the team at once and will wait a bit. I agree with everyone else that, skill-wise, incontrol is in the same level of all those players, but he is a popular caster/commentator so there is no way he is being cut soon.
