I guess they're getting rid of the EG Lair soon.

Anna is slowly keeping the house for herself.... the idea sounds heavenly! XD

I can see these two getting picked up by smaller teams if they continue to be pro gamers, shame to see them go though because it feels like EG is losing that "family" feel that you get from watching the Lair video. It'll be weird to one day look at EG as Idra/HuK/Demuslim + Koreans.... I imagine the content on their YouTube channel will get a bit more awkward/non-personal at that point.

I kinda knew this was coming. If they decide to remove Lz next, I really doubt he would care. He's actually in a great position to become a pro but he doesn't let SC2 interfere with his real life, he has a lot more going for him outside the game. I fear for Machine though since he works so hard but I know he hasn't shown much and isn't as huge of an eSports figure like Incontrol to warrant being kept on the team.

After living with Machine for a year in AZ prior to the 2nd EG house. He is a great guy, I love him, and I wish him the best. Keep at it man! I doubt Inc would let Scott/Alex remove you from the team but ya gotta show results!
So wait? I'm bad? =(

Sounds like EG just straight up doesn't want them as 1v1'ers

Why not? Getting Korean-grade players and set them up in Arizona seems like waste.

I hope not, he's so pretty

EG needs to keep him there to be pretty with Bryce.

It's sad to hear that these guys aren't with EG any longer. But from a business perspective it's a fairly easy move to understand given that the two of them are at best role players on the team who don't have the ability (currently) to increase the team's exposure. Also, given how early they were signed I have the feeling that EG was taking a gamble on 2v2 being a big part of the team competitions and an area for investment. However, that simply hasn't happened.

The all-korean prediction for EG is becoming closer to the truth

Forgive me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure it's not just the SC2 team that are in the EG house

Sorry if I have missed it somewhere, but is it certain that EG dumped them rather than they decided to leave? I know it seems likely EG let them go since their results are not stellar - but isn't it possible that the fact they were allegedly just playing for board etc and tournament support mean that perhaps they got better offers and wanted to leave?

Seriously? What team would offer them better offers? What have they done?

I'm just asking. We can all just make judgements on results, but there are other things that matter. They could be great practice partners for example

It makes me laugh when all the people say they are no longer an EG fan because they cut their "favourite player." What do you expect a company/team to do if they want to compete at the highest level possible?

As far as why they got rid of Axlsav I dont get that. Hes definitely an amazing toss.

From the youtube video "evil geniuses: tour of the lair" it really looked like it was just the SC2 players.

From what I've heard the SC2 team are permanent tenants in the house while other branches of EG have stayed in the house when preparing for upcoming tournaments. An example of this is when the WoW team boot camped in the house prior to Blizzcon.

Depending upon success of other games, the EG Lair doesn't solely have to be for Starcraft 2 players. They already had their WoW 3v3 team their before Blizzcon as well. I wouldn't be surprised if their DotA team ended up heading on over if it's as successful as many people think it will be.

The house has exclusively SC2 players. The WoW team bootcamped for Blizzcon but that's it. As I understand they were going to use it for EG's other teams whenever it's convenient for them to stay there for some reason (which is very unlikely) or for SlayerS players to train if they want to come early for a foreign tournament to get rid of jetlag and such (which is also unlikely considering how hectic schedules are for progamers).

How many people are in the EG lair right now? 3?
