Yeah obviously there a sad side of that coin too. But it really looks like something is wrong with TSL, seeing how they cant keep any players...

I'm not at liberty to share the exact details, but you can take my word for it that this has nothing to do with Coach Lee and how he runs his team, or his team in general.

Ehm Im sorry, even if Coach Lee is the most awesome person alive, something is wrong with a team when there is this much dropping/leaving/etc of players. Might not necessarily be Coach Lee fault but somewhere it went wrong.

And dont get my wrong, im sad that TSL is in so much trouble. But its hard to blame on other ("is taken") as you write. But maybe im just totaly off line here.

Here's what I am able to share:

Rain: Left because he wanted to move to New York with his father and join a foreign team
PuMa: Poached by EG
Fruitdealer & TricksteR: Removed because they didn't want to take the game seriously enough.
JYP: Left because of new, tougher practice schedule
SangHo: Left because of new, tougher practice schedule
Clide: Asked to be released from his contract to join his friends in the SlayerS house, which Coach Lee obliged.
aLive: Contract bought out by Fnatic

They don't have the sponsors/money to keep good players after they become good so to speak. Sad for TSL but they'll live I think.

That information is completely false, TSL is not hurting for sponsors or money whatsoever.

Thx for the info and clearing that up. Since you confirmed fnatic is getting Alive, can you shed light on why they misled people with the Moon announcement? Are they getting Moon too or was that just to be irritating heh

Fruitdealer and TricksteR were removed because Coach Lee tried to renegotiate their salaries and began not paying them when Fruitdealer and TricksteR wouldn't show up to practice etc. Then the whole SC2Con debacle occured, etc. This was all actually pretty public. I guess you could call it over salaries, I always just tend to look at it from the other angle, especially now that TricksteR is in the Army and Fruitdealer is a LoL pro.

Well, Fnatic just easily shot to the top of the foreigner teams with the addition of Moon and aLive.

Poor TSL, though if the contract was bought out, then Lee must've been willing to part with him.

Those all seem rather harsh. Claiming a team poached a person? Did they kidnap him and prevent you from talking to him? From how I see it, as a fan on the outside, it's like any other professional sport. Players are signed to contracts. If Puma was a free agent of sorts and TSL didn't try to keep him, that's one thing. If he broke his contract when he dropped and signed with EG, that's another, but I didn't hear anything at all about that. Sounds like someone's a tad upset.

And saying that a player left because of "new, tougher practice schedule" smacks of "panties in a twist" type anger, too. Killer is a former BW pro. Most of what I hear about BW pros is that they weren't lazy because the game had such a high skill curve that you couldn't be lazy and be good at the game. And I don't think anyone who QQ's and quits because of "new, tougher practice schedule" would be able to take 3rd at HSC4. Plus, I don't think lazy people make it into Code A OR Code S all that easily.

Plus, I may be wrong, but wasn't this a Fnatic deal? Weren't they supposed to be the ones to shock and amaze us with their posting, not with the manager of ANOTHER team popping out and spoiling the surprise? Bad form, man, bad form.

Well, to be fair, GOM has taken Alive off the TSL team listing and Alive changed his Twitter, so the surprise is already in the out.
