I hope they both get destroyed so we'll see less stupid undeserving invites into code S.

Yess. I hope so too.
Sen fanboys aren't so bad, but Idra fans really fucking annoying.

Putting the NaNiwa issue aside, there's one spot available because someone is dropping out. Scoots said he thinks it's sC, but whoever it is they're dropping out voluntarily. If they put that spot up for grabs, then the Code A guys who don't get to play off for it will be upset. Just inviting someone, especially someone who was a member of a BW pro team, is currently part of an established SC2 pro team with relationships within the Korean community and has a good relationship with the GSL administration, is probably the solution that leaves the fewest people unhappy. That's how I see it at least.

Wait what? sC is dropping out!? D=

http://www.twitch.tv/onemoregametv/b/302625376 at 59 minutes. Liquipedia's article on sC says he had a relapse of pneumothorax.

There's also the possibility that a player is having to do military service. There are a couple different ways a spot could open up.

The real question is will GSL create a "welcome back Greg 'Idra' Fields" montage video?

I think this is total BS and that these players should be thrown into UP/DOWN matches and more of those players should be bumped up to Code S not just a free ride.

Naniwa gets the boot and instead we get Idra... I'm ashamed of GomTV right now. Personally, I'll be surprised if Idra makes it out of RO32... He'll probably make it to RO24 in Code A, but get stuck in the Up & Downs. Naniwa is a much better player than Idra. This is very disappointing.

Sen replaced Naniwa. Idra was a separate invite. Confirmed by Mr. Chae.

Pay attention to what's happening, please. It's common knowledge that the Idra invitation had absolutely nothing to do with NaNiwa, and in fact happened weeks ago.

That just gives a free ride to other people. There's more than two people in the Up/Down matches; how do you choose which two get bumped up? The fairest way to handle this IMO is to invite people without any standing in the GSL system.

sC is in some serious illness, might got hospitalized at some point, if not already. However, no credible Korean source has released information about him. If sC could play in January, it would be a hell of miraculously recovery.

Above is correct.

Artosis confirmed the invitation to Sen was due to Naniwa's incident when he did broadcast on BlizzardCup, if you happened to watch the stream you would have heard that already.

If sC is being replaced by IdrA, then who takes the second foreigner seed? I'm so confused right now.

Oh geez, poor SC. I really hope he can get it treated successfully - this is the 3rd time he's had pneumothorax. Sounds like he might need surgery to prevent a another relapse. (I hope he didn't already have the surgery, because if he did this seems like really bad news).
For the swarm!

It's funny hoe many posters think they can run GSL better than GSL...

By the way, good riddance I say with Naniwa. If he wants he can always fight his way back to Code S

Morrow has a spot in the up/downs.
