This is great news! It will be exciting to see IdrA and Sen who have both had GSL experience back in the Korean scene. I am just a little worried that IdrA went to Korea a little too late. He doesn't have much more time to prepare and get acclimated to the Korean play styles. I know he faces code S caliber players at international tournaments, but this is code S and literally every single player is top notch. IdrA has been doing very well recently but he shows some kinks in the armor against these top Koreans. I hope his time in the SlayerS house has been productive, I haven't been able to catch his stream yet. As always, I will be rooting for IdrA to make a strong appearance!

and IdrA is surprisingly mannered when he's inside a GSL booth. Hope both Sen and IdrA can bring some foreigner Zerg POWA into Korea. Stephano did a mighty job in the Blizz cup, shame he isn't staying.

Very cool news - I'm especially excited to see Sen give some good results. Hes a total beast and really underrated in my opinion. Can't say I'm sorry to see Naniwa go, his attitude and overall awkwardness never really appealed to me. GL to Sen and Idra!

very cool, but I do hope there is more coverage of sen, this is a very idra focused thread but that's not your fault. I do hope that sen gives some kind of interview or statement regarding this and hopefully we get some hard questions asked.

"In 2012 the GSL will have 2 Code S sponsor seeds. These seeds will be determined by outstanding results in international tournaments. In 2011 the GSL schedule luckily matched very well with MLG's schedule. For this reason we were able to introduce a system that allowed high-placing players at MLG to compete in the following GSL season in a regular manner. In 2012 we will again do our best to provide a schedule that matches well with MLG and other international leagues. As the GSL format has changed and a season now lasts for significantly longer, it will this time however not be possible to perfectly match our schedule with MLG's. Apart from that we would also like to consider players of other remarkable tournaments and have therefore introduced this change to our international seeding system...."
