I am really sorry if this has been asked already, but I skimmed through several pages and haven't seen it answered. Will Idra still be competing in the Up and Down matches?

coca and min are no slouches, and at least IdrA will have a proper terran practice partner now (please don't compare the likes of MMA, Ganzi, Ryung to DeMuslim or Puma)

Has it been announced who will replace him in the up and downs?

Yea I'm very interested in who will replace him in Up and Down's as well. Hopfeully someone that has a good chance to make it through =D. With 3-4 foreigners in Code S i will definitely by buying a pass like I did for the 1st three GSL's with Idra, Ret, Haypro etc. (obviously they weren't in all of them but you get my point)

Haypro has had one good showing in tournaments for all of 2011. He is most certainly not worthy of a Code S invite.

This code S seed is based on a personal invite from GOM, it's not related to MLG rankings

I wonder if Jinro got offered the Up & Down slot that IdrA has vacated?

That would be great, but I'm not sure he would take it, he seems really set on going through the Code A Qualifiers.

So didn't Idra leave code S the same way Rain did? how come he hasn't been punished the way Rain did then?

Idra provided weeks of warning to Gom, they even had time to make that spiffy leaving video. IIRC Rain left with pretty much no notice.

Artosis Made the Correction Directly On BlizzardCup stream yesterday. Naniwa's replacement is Sen, Not IdrA. IdrA got that spot from another player. You can confirm with those who watched the cast.
"If MC wins this, his name would not be SK MC, it would be ST MC, ST for Saint, performing miracles." - Artosis.

Slayers Coca is very strong. He's definitely a top 5 zerg and at the moment a far stronger player than Idra. He's more than adequate.

I though Coca was kicked out of the team house? He's the only Code-S-worthy Zerg on Slayers.

I may be wrong but I heard that he's still allowed to practice at Slayers and that Slayers will decide when he's ready to compete again. Actually, he just competed in a team game on IPL so he must still be with Slayers; if you go to IGNProleague's page you can watch it on Youtube; it was posted in the last couple days. I would say Min is better than Idra as well and thus he'll have better Z practice partners than he currently has on EG.

Makes sense that Idra got in, he was in code S for quite a while, when he was in Korea. Not to hate on Sen because he's a great player, but I think there are other players who've had better results recently and are a bit more deserving.

If im not wrong (which I dont think i am, pretty sure heard it from IdrA on some show/stream) Coca has indeed left the Slayers house

Min I don't think has better ZvT or maybe even ZvZ than IdrA... maybe ZvP im not sure...
And even if there's not good Zergs, he can practice against kick ass terrans and badass protoss

i think it was very close between idra and stephano tbh. i dont think either sen or idra deserve a code S spot, they should all get code A spots and EARN code S in the real way.

Please tell me who? The only player I can think of is PuMa, but it seems like the GSL hates him for some reason lol. Sen got 3rd place @ Blizzcon, and 3rd @ both NASL's, and has been consistent throughout his entire career. He also played in the GSL before so they already knew who he was. Who would you think it would be other than those two?

I feel bad for idra and sen, they get an opportunity to play at the highest level and they get insulted rather than GOM for making all these decisions and being chiefly responsible. I dont think players should even be seeded into code A to be clear, but if you have an opportunity that doesn't come around often, you take it.
