Did they just swap Nani and Idra? So Johan plays up and downs?

So? Jinro made Ro4 twice. Does that mean GOM should give him the spot for his better performances than Idra?

He dropped down from it, whereas IdrA relinquished it. You may not agree with it, but surely you can admit there is some logic to giving IdrA back his Code S spot.

If you don't think it outweighs the other factors, then that's a debate to be had, but it's not a completely wild idea.

People seem to overlook that BOTH Idra and Sen has very large following, especially Idra and i would say Sen has pretty big following as well. (Taiwanese fans and such)

That is good enough reason for GOM to give them a Code S spot

.... I don't think a lot of people are going to be happy about that. Seems kind-of like a harsh punishment IMO

are you suprised after Coca incident?

on the topic, this is a joke, Idra was scheduled to play up-and down matches anyway why not let him finish that and just get codeS? At least we would know if hes capable of beating Koreans.

As far as I know it was SlayerS who punished Coca and not GOM.

Naniwa's spot should go to Huk or Haypro for being the highest ranked behind him at Providence.

Idra's spot should go to the highest ranked GSL player not in Code S after Up-and-Downs between Polt, July, Nada.

It's unfurtunate that I might have to start boycotting GSL for this crap just as my two favorite zergs get into the tournament.

That's what i'm wondering its really weird i don't think they should just give out Code S Spots so eagerly its weird...

Sen Is a Code S Caliber player probably, but i don't think they should do it this way..

Agreed.

At least throw them into Code A Up/Downs :/ Or some sort of wild card after the up/downs...... this is like a HUUUUUUGE middle fingers to all Korean gamers that want Code S

WHAT THE FUCK!
I love Idra and I'm glad that he got a Code S spot, but you can't just kick a guy out for something like this.
I wasn't happy with Naniwa about the whole thing, but this is over the line for sure.

Jesus Christ Gom, the babying of the foreign scene has to STOP. These players should EARN their way into Code S like every Korean player. It's pretty clear GOM is getting desperate for viewers/subscriptions when they try every way possible to give non-koreans free passes into the most difficult, most prestigious league in SC2. Meanwhile better players are fighting for their careers in Code Hell ...

Idra left your league because he felt it wasn't worth it stay when the foreign scene continued to grow. Now that he is back in Korea he should have to work his way back to Code S. The Sen invite is just random as hell.

If it is Naniwa that got the axe I'm glad GOM at least isn't showing double standards when it comes to players breaking rules.

I think sC is a pretty sure bet as one of the players dropping out, as his pneumothorax seems to have relapsed.

I'm not sure, this relapse happened a while back and he was due to be released again any day now. Given there's actually some downtime till next season I'd have thought he has plenty of time both to rest and get some practice in. Maybe doctor's orders are he takes some serious time off though =?

Idra left on his own free will. If you leave, you should have to qualify again. The strength of Code S has upped ten times since Idra left. If Idra gets his spot back, Rain and LiveForever should also get their spots back as well. This is 100% due to popularity and no one else should think different.

Naniwa made GOM look like a joke on TV. This is what MLG should have done. I'm not gonna complain, but gonna get ready for all the outraged foreigners saying they'll never watch GSL again.
