Am I the only one who thinks it's bullshit that Legion gets to put a whole big thread about this on TL when they aren't even paying for him? It's so fucking misleading. They make it seem like they're sending one of their top players to Korea when really they're just announcing that he's making a move. It's such a scumbag way for a subpar team to grab rep off of one of their players decisions to improve.

Why is that bullshit? It's relevant information, to their player, their reputation, and their team. And considering the fact that Des has posted about seven or eight times in this thread, I would venture to say that he agrees with me...

Sounds cool, good for Desrow~! Hopefully he gets into CodeA soon, or competes in GSL. His stream is quite informative, I should watch it more often

I see Desrow do 4 gate about 65% of the time his games(I watch about 2-3 hours of his stream a day) of course most of his games end early. He has too learn some new builds and practice on his late game and a trip to Korea would help that.
We all have dreams and this is his dream he's been talking about this for awhile, who cares if he isn't a top tier Forean or even a mid tier why should anyone say he isn't good enough to go to Korea or he's wasting his time and money. Hope he becomes a better player and person in this trip GL Desrow!!!

imo unless desrow makes drastic improvements in his gameplay, I can't see him getting too far. However, best of luck in your stay in korea.

If I'm interpreting you correctly, you think that LGN shouldn't be involved at all in this story besides the fact that desRow is on that team. And since it was a personal decision for desRow to go, rather than a collaborative effort with his team they shouldn't be trying to get extra positive PR.
I suppose you kinda have a point, but they are paying to fly him there, so I don't know if I agree entirely. And even then, they are just doing what they can to get their name on the map. You'd do the same.

From my understanding they aren't even paying to fly him there. That is a separate individual that has nothing to do with the team. I didn't really give it much thought but I agree with Venom. Especially since they originally left out the fact that he was paying his own way, when the opposite would have been implied by their OP.

we did edit the last sentence of the paragraph. mistake on my part when I read the press release and agreed to it. I can see how it looks bad for them that wasn't our goal and I'm smarter than to give 100% credit while paying for the entire thing XD
