MVP's screwing Gom up lol hmmm.... they bypassed sen who took third at whatever that tournament was in favor of MMA, and now they are going to bypass whoever is runner-up at WCG to give it to another GSL point runner? why dont they just make this the GSL most valuable player cup since it does not appear they are taking the best from each of the tournaments, which is what they said they would do. not saying the GSL players are not qualified, just saying they are destroying the purpose of the cup, but whatever... going to watch it anyways since it will be an awesome tourney. edit: further rant, i just checked the brackets. if polt is picked based on GSL points that means that five of the ten spots (i.e., 50%) will be based on GSL points rather than other tournaments. edit2: further further rant, this also means that there will all be koreans except naniwa and stephano. wtf GSL? | ||

That has happened now with the WCG spot and will happen again with the last Code S seed for GSL January. While I think it is good for entertainment value if they keep the racial distribution even I would have welcomed if the last Blizzard Cup spot would go to the WCG runner up just to increase the probabiliy of another foreigner qualifying for BlizzCup. Hell, even MKP would be a better choice than Polt because his style while not being absolutely better is more entertaining to watch. | ||

On subject. Honestly i've never thought polt was good at all. He got a win over MMA when he choked and polt had a gimmicky strat. Other then that his results haven't been impressive. Kinda wish it went to someone else. But such is life. GL to him though. | ||

I don't know if that was intentional or not but i found this bit really funny As for Polt qualifying, at least gom is being consistent with selecting people off of GSL points. | ||
