I thought that the EG said that when slayers/eg players come to America for major tourneys they will be able to come early and practice/recoup at EG team house so they are in top shape for the tournament.

you know in a kinda double neg way it does...
haha I mean yes, playing against lots of great terrans will actually make his vt better in the long run, but will prob blow it the fuck up while he adjusts and regigs to deal with all the new timings and whatnot.

it might make him vulnerable to NA/euro cheeses and odd builds if he gets too used to the korean style, but i doubt the results of korean practice will be anything but positive.

I guess you have not watched SC2 in the last year or so?

I guess you have not been to Korea? IdrA is going to have to learn his manners, respect comes before anything in Korean culture. That would be the most significant moment of his career.

I guess you have not watched Starcraft Brood War for the last 10 years or so, or familiar with it because Idra was the most accomplished foreigner in Brood War who happened to live in Korea for several years.

IdrA is still the most accomplished foreigner in the world.

Wow, I don't even know what to say lol

Are you drunk? No he is not! Not even close! If he wasn't ragequitting every third game he would be on a level of ~Sjow or DIMAGA. He wins some small tourneys but loses to 95% of top-players.
HuK is the only foreigner who won Major Tourneys and showed some skill in GSL.

...what?

Sjow and Dimaga have both earned less tournament winnings than Idra, and that's including all the random hundred dollar European tournaments they've won. They've also won less international tournaments, and that's not even including Beta tourneys.

And Idra's best GSL placement is higher than HuKs.

I seriously wish people would stop randomly inflating European players.

Idra's been the most consistent. He qualified for all 3 Open Seasons, the only foreigner to do so. While Jinro was better than him during most of 2010 and early 2011, Jinro has been slumping hard. Huk has risen past Idra, but Idra remains relevant and a top player.

Think you guys are overselling how much he's going to improve. Idra's not known for adapting to new playstyles particularly quickly.

Yea, he didn't get better at all last time he was in Korea...

Oh Boy! Even Artosis and Torch qualified for a Open Season! Look what happened to jinro! The Open Seasons were a FARCE competitively!

What about HuK or Naniwa?

HuK and Naniwa are babies when compared to IdrA...
They have never played for a Korean team while IdrA did...

+ Show Spoiler +
HuK's GSTL does not count as he was not part of oGs. He played because of a partnership between TL and oGs.

Idra would be the best foreigner and easily a top 10 player in the whole world if he grew up. I seriously hope he matures a bit mentally during his stay in korea. Even if he learned absolutely nothing about SC2 but got his mind in the right place he would improve dramatically. I think during the latest MLG or Dreamhack one of the casters said that Idra loses like 80% of the matches where he lost the first game. I don't doubt that at all.

So good luck Idra, and grow up already.

Lol are you drunk? I'm no idra fan, but he has the accomplishments, unless you were in a cave for the past 2 years.

He addapted to SC2 pretty damn well. You joined TL in June, I don't really think you're qualified to talk about Idras history as a player.
