the EG vs Mouz argument is really stupid but awesome because its forming a great rivalry.

Mouz has won the last two eg masters cups as a team, win for them.

EG has won more 1v1 foreign tournaments (but has also attended far more i'm fairly safe to assume) win for them.

EG has some GSL success, not much but in comparison to other teams outside TL and korea but its something, win for them. Mouz sending morrow and hopefully more players to Korea could change that.

EG has more publicity with all the shows their players do, the EG lair, the streaming. win for them (although in europe could be closer)

Overall its healthy to have a good rivalry against teams, i love it. I'm a EG fan now, but i liked Mouz alot in wc3 and i like thier players now as well. We really need a huge team league to breed more of these types of rivalries between all the teams.... mouz, 4k, mTw, and mYm rivalries in the WC3L was very interesting and always produced such good clan wars in wc3. We need that in sc2, all these 1v1 tournies are cool but i feel like the backbone of the scene needs to turn its focus more towards team leagues. Also it needs to turn away from all this travel from our stars but thats a different story entirely.... Anyways love the twitter trash talk between 2 great teams and 2 teams that need to be respected by fans of both.
Evil Geniuses needs a LoL team.... Pobelter/Altec fan

Lol, no wonder you're banned making a troll post like that. Hasu>HuK. Thorzain>Demuslim. Mouz won the EG masters cup TWICE. EG has the money so they bought Puma and HuK. Sure, they're rich. The richest team. But not even close to the best roster. They have Puma, IdrA and HuK. Mousesports have proven over and over again that they're much much better than EG.

you know, its hard to support you when IdrA, HuK, PuMa have won NASL 1, IEM Cologne, MLG Orlando, Dreamhack Summer, IEM Guangzhao, and ASUS invite all in the past year. Whereas the only big name tournament I know any mouz player has won in the past year was TSL3 by thorzain.

No EG player won Dreamhack Summer. Or NASL for that matter.

You can't buy past results too lol.

Seriously though, you're making me sound like a blind EG fanboy when I'm not, but it speaks to the caliber of players EG has (playing for them). Mouz can't buy or win any big results.

It doesn't matter. It's fine as a general statement but you can't use it as an argument over mouz. This success does NOT belong to EG, caliber notwithstanding.

What? It's totally viable. The skillset of EG > the skillset of Mouz. Mouz has won the Masters Cup twice, proving that when they play for their team they do great, but their players are inferior to EG players.

I guess you talk about HuK, PuMa and IdrA when you mean EG Players And not iNcontroL, Axlav and the other...mhm...can i call them midtier players?

Until you win a gsl you are a mid tier player. As great as mlg foreign lans are beating people who spend 70 out of 96 hours in travel or playing in the middle of a more important tournament is subpar to winning in korea. Maybe huk is a top 10 player based on foreign results, maybe.

I'm inclined to agree. Honestly MLG is the worst tournament ever to use as an indicator of skill - there's so much discomfort, luck and endurance involved that overrides any level of skill and allows almost no preparation. It's a huge mess.

Most foreign tournaments aren't much better, but they're still somewhat better. IPL3 was decent, and NASL has the right idea as well.

wow, you have some serious issue, MLG is regarded as the best or at least top3 tournament on the international scene, and has the most weight, what is your problem?

If you read his post again you'll see that it's about measuring skill, not about how good the tournament is for viewers.

Mouz already won it. EG masters cup twice :p

and regarding their CS teams, lets just say Mouz has 68% win rate over 500+ official games since 2002, while EG has 54% win rate over 200+ official games since 2002.

Every american 1.6 team is a free win against top euro teams the past 10 years though, since the days when team 3d broke. and mouz has always been a feared top 1.6 team.

go look at one my posts earlier... they are 2-2 in head-to-head matches

No need for grudge matches. We're going to have Puma/Idra vs Thorzain/Morrow.

Yes, look at 4 head to head games instead of 500 or 200 total games

:p

you really arent making sense now... you try to use team battles as support for your case... and when i say they are 2-2 you agree so your point is null... makes no sense

I used overall statistics to show how much better mouz is overall. Using 4 head to head games as sample size is beyond silly.

again go look at one my earlier posts where i go through EG having around 8 major tournament accomplishes in the past year while mouz has 1 in the past year...
this of course referring to non team leagues

Again, i used the word overall. Not past year. One of mouz 1.6 players died in a car accident this(?) year.

this is a sc2 forum, go take your CS stuff elsewhere. and for sc2 the last year is pretty much overall

I'm an EG fan, but Mouz destroyed them. Mouz have won the last 2 EG ran tournaments, and won both there series against EG players.
