I sincerely hope I misread what you said, but you can't possibly be taking any of this seriously. I mean, they're just dicking around and having fun, not like either side actually intends to hate the other with a fiery passion. It's all in good fun.
Then again, loads of people seem to enjoy blowing everything out of proportion for the sake of drama, so what I said is probably all for naught.
That is only your opinion? YES? What's your evidence that they're only having fun? The EG guys seems desperate enough to make fun of mousesport (but failed anyway). A sensible person should at least be able to sense a shit ton of bad sacarsm out of those twit. and even if they're only having fun if they're actually any more professional that that, they shouldn't even be saying any of these stuff, sure they may not be serious but this is just unprofessional and bad for the scene, especially when the sponsors get to see it.
No it's not. It happens in sports ALL the time, it's just joking around. People like yourself just blow things out of the water for no reason, EG is one of the biggest and longest lasting E-sports teams in the West, I'm pretty sure they know how to handle sponsors.
Neither team is serious, it's really obviously just hype/a mock rivalry.
Ok look, i'm not gonna argue about whether they're having fun or not but isn't this unprofessional? It happens in sports all the time? come on do you follow any other sports at all, when players mocking each other such as (I don't think they can win against us etc,, etc) none of them would ever mention words as strong as blood or walkover. And when they do, trust me, a massive shit storm has happened before, and they did have to make a formal appologise (e.g. Wayne Rooney in football). They can have fun all they want outside but these twit are not even from the players, these twit itself act as a representative of the team's offical opinion, not the opinion of the player and thus it needs to be even MORE formal, that is if we want the scene to be more professional. The current state of epsort is still very "half-assed" and if you don't even "TRY" to be professional, how can the scene be more appeal to a larger sponsor?
I might have taken you seriously if you hadn't only ragged on EG instead of both EG and Mousesports.
Relax, they are joking and this is not unprofessional it is in fact excellent publicity

All the top teams want to think they are the best its a good mindset to have... Its a bad mindset to be "well we are the 3rd best team and now we are facing the 1st best team so we should lose". (this is hypothetical I am not saying EG is 3rd, 2nd ,1st, last or anything).

Players banter all the time coming into things, I don't know what you're talking about. Maybe not calling the other team a walkover, but as you said, it was just hype. That, and a little bit of dicking around I think. I found it highly amusing.
Finally, i actually missed a healthy bit of open rivalry between teams - its a bit too much flowerpower in SC2. As long as it is just friendly banter, im completely fine with it - i even would say, i would welcome it.
.. at least, as long as it stays "professional".
In the real world btw, theres rivalry in every sport (take football/soccer for example, everyone in the EU should know that, like Barca vs. Real etc). And its good (as long as they just express it in fan-choruses, not in physical action.
hmm. what other EG player is left in the tourny? oh yeah.... Idra. Well if he happens to make it to the Semi-finals (unlikely in my opinion) he'll face either MouzThorzain or MouzMorrow
