i would like a hint of that also, incontrol what supports your idea of destiny being able to learn enough to improve at all? i mean... he has already seen the way koreans play from MLG, and thats probably all the experience hes going to get in korea

sorry if i am being negative about this issue, but i really dont see the logic for destiny to go there

Hmm... Strange that one would go korea, when he still has a lot room to improve in NA still. Good luck to him nevertheless^^

seeing koreans play and practicing with them are two different things. i don't understand why everyone has to be so negative about this. it's awesome that he gets to go

everyone isnt being negative, most of this thread is destiny fanboys who thinks its amazing and that he'll come out of its massively improved, which i really doubt he will. if he was destroying everyone on NA and needed the challenge then it would maybe make sense, but hes not.
i imagine this really short period has something to do with the end of QIM that was announced, and them wanting to keep destiny interested until they can set up a real trip for him, but it seems to me that its a waste of time.
but hey, maybe hell come back and be #1 GM a week later, and then well all look like idiots

Was expecting this comment to be a reply to a flow of idiotic hype/troll/bash/whatnot. But there were like 2 guys who were moderately skeptical about the positive effects of Destiny's trip and a bunch of encouraging words from the others.
Not worth a "oh stop people". TL is not that bad a place yet.

Edit: moderatEly :o)

you guys aren't thinking about the bigger picture of this journey. While this is for training and what not it's also about making connections, if he gets on well with Bomber (for example) he's got a significantly better practice partner now than he's ever had before.

im not being negative, sure it would be great for anyone to go to Korea and learn so much within just 3 weeks, but u think about it, is three weeks enough for you to actually learn enough so that u can actually beat high level players? does this mean other players arent practicing while destiny's gone to korea?

plus, it takes weeks to even settle down and just learn their style and get used to them. Ive read and heard what naniwa and huk saying about being in Korea. Naniwa even said it was stupid for Thorzain to go bak to Sweden after just short time at the korea. This strongly indicates that how much time it actually takes for anyone to be able to increase their skill while in Korea.

Destiny, being the smart guy he is, will make the best of even "only" three weeks i think!
Have fun!

my god. so many people have some stick up their ass about destiny's improvement. everything the guy does there's always a crowd of people sitting there saying "destiny overrated. destiny not improving. destiny wasting time." just let the man do something for once without being so critical.

Why even make the trip for 3 weeks? I mean training in Korea is always a good opportunity but only 3 weeks doesn't seem to be a good amount of time to have it actually affect your skill level too much. Is the 3 week trip because of a tournament?
