One of their Halo players Tsquared was on bottles of Dr.Pepper in 08/09 to raise awareness of mlg. LOVE what Sundance is doing, have been following MLG for years and it keeps on improving, 2012 is looking to be incredible!

I'm glad that one of the heads of arguably the most legitimate Western Esports scene is a pretty level-headed guy and not some money-grubbing douche. I would like to see more in-depths interviews by MLG of the players - shown specifically during the tournament so that more of a personality is formed from each of the players. Even though it was basically fictitious, the Naniwa-Nestea drama was one of the most interesting "rivalries" in SC2 to date, and it was only known because Artosis decided to tell the viewers. If MLG could facilitate more public interviews, things like these would be more frequent and thus make an MLG viewing experience that much better.

Rather than 1 person at home not giving a shit about the sponsors becuase its taking up their time from watching a starcraft game. Yea, and also because one guy watching a stream at home can hit the 'mute' button every time a commercial comes on or switch to another window or something, but you can't mute the tv in a bar. So this guarantees that the commercial is actually on and being watched/listened to. And if they can get more and more sponsors, they won't have to play the same 5 commercials over the course of the entire weekend, which would mean that fewer people would be muting the stream because they don't want to watch some dumb bitch be a "Lady Cop" for the thousandth time.

I'm a little annoyed Sundance couldn't tell us more about next season, but I understand why they want to wait. I have to say, he really comes off as someone who truly understands the Esports community and what we want to see. Very excited to hear more about next season!

I particularly loved his answers at around 15 and 17 minutes. The whole growing ESPORTS for future generations as opposed to trying to convert people, and the bit about needing a structure in place for the US scene so these guys can actually be full time and treat it as such. Really good interview. Bring on 2012~!
