Gotta thank MLG Dallas 2011 and Sundance's reaction to it. I mean it was a total disaster and he could've easly scrapped the whole SC2 idea out of MLG and stick to the "safer" console titles. But he didn't. He took a lot of shit, took it as a man should, and then choose to dive straight into it, despite all that went wrong. Each MLG has gotten better and better since. In terms of game quality, stories, casting, crowds, drama and so on. Keep it up ! :D

Hopefully he can live up to the words and let MLG grow healthy.

Excited for more MLG next season. MLG may not have the big payouts - but it is one of the few tournaments that I always try to plan my weekend around watching the tournament because of the casters / the crowd and the selection of great foreign and Korean players.

I think its better for the sponsors because if there are people together while an advertisement then people can talk about it and be like "oh wow i really like hotpockets, do you?" and this conversation erupts about it. Rather than 1 person at home not giving a shit about the sponsors becuase its taking up their time from watching a starcraft game.

I think MLG is great but what really gets me is how much they think of Gamers and Esports fans as"14-16 year olds" and it shows in a lot of stuff they produce (the music, the pimp my gamer bedroom show that runs between matches etc.). They should approach Starcraft 2 in a different way than console gaming.

"Some people will be always be unhappy"? I hope that's not foreshadowing MLG keeping the same extended series!! ![]()
