If you aren't allowed to talk you can't ask the other guy to leave. Having to forfeit a match is a lot better than your entire career. Of course this is assuming that they didn't plan ahead of time for Coca to lose.

The player was protesting that fact it was not about the extended series advantage. so please stop comparing the two. It's the same thing in essence though. You're depriving your viewers of "real games" in a tournament setting.

Nobody had this reaction to that random guy in MLG that threw 2 games to his own detriment to put WhiteRa on even ground when he was late. Nobody is demanding Idra get banned for life for forfeiting games to go get some sleep. It's pretty common knowledge that players throw games all the time to try to secure themselves better bracket spots in tournaments and we don't get out the torch and pitchforks. We crack jokes and laugh at the absurdity. Or in the case of the guy forfeiting two games to WhiteRa, praise him (And let's be honest, it's not because he's being honorable. It's because we like WhiteRa...) If you read the actual chat and see the tone of it (in Korean), it's pretty clear that it's just two guys screwing around. So why the need to crucify them? Because this incident caused negative effect on team Slayers,Boxer, and Prime for having someone that lacks pro gamers mindset, ZeNex for their former players throwing matches, and making Esports look like a joke.

" Coca and byun are playing against each other in some cup, but apparently they are friends and because coca already has a code S spot, he felt the need to drop the game and give byun another chance to get a Code S or Code A spot, Thus in other words it can be summed up as match fixing." I'd say punish them , make sure an example is made but don't ruin their careers over this, people fuck up. Atleast one more chance should be given eventually .

This was a stupid mistake on both their parts and they are already being punished pretty severely for it. I hope to see the both of them back in gsl eventually. Quoted for truth, that stephano bratok series was a joke

The punishment may be harsh, but they probably want to set an example. its easy to understand, anything that goes against the competitive nature of sports is something that bothers people because instead of watching a contest where players give it all now they will have in the back of their minds that its just play pretend(well, not that extreme, but I hope I made myself clear) And its not like they were permabanned from the competition, they screwed up, they are getting punished by this. They will probably be back(I certainly hope so)
