On iPad I can confirm that it works.

Who thinks the next game blizzard is working on will be an amazing seller. And what do people think of the new units coming out for the next sc2 and also that carriers have been removed from the game Good or Bad move? To me i think the choice to take carriers out was a bad move because they were amazing in Brood War i want someone elses opinion into the fact that Blizzard decdided to take them out. But on an other note what do people think of what Heart of the swarm will be like?.

I also want to say do you think Idra could of made it farther in NASL or was it a mistake that he gg'd so early against Puma. Or do you think he did it because he wanted Idra to move on so EG would have a guaranteed player from the team in the finals.

Uh....what? Jjakjji? Leenock? Come on, Bitters. I respect you and everything you've accomplished, but that comment was maybe a bit too exaggerated
I'm almost inclined to agree with him. MVP is the best player, but Hero "should" be the best protoss player. His issues wtih nerves are pretty obvious. If you watch his stream and alot of his tournament games where he's on point, he makes protoss look absolutely abusive
But pulling the GSL finalists as your example for the best player in the world is absurd, certainly more then saying Hero is the best.

Russano i have to disagree with you that MVP is best player. The reason i disagree is because Hero and HuK are both so much better Protoss players reason i say that is because huk has been placing high in so many events lately and has been showing people why he is one of the best players in the world.
And also another reason why i say i disagree with MVP being the best is because of some of games i have seen him play. HuK and Hero have some really consistent games.
I would Definately say that Hero is in the list of top Protoss players in the if not #1 because of his consistent plays and also the matches he had against EG.Puma yesterdat in NASL

Did you just call Hero and Huk more consistent then MVP? lol

Since August he's made 3 consecutive Code S semi-finals, 2 finals(where he won one of them) and he won Blizzcon.
I agree with you that HuK is consistent, but just not at the same level as Mvp. He's a solid Code S player, but I don't think he will ever win 3 GSLs.

Lol, 4th at providence, winning WCG korea, winning MLG a while ago. Even further back in the year. When he dropped from code S by having a bad month , he went straight to code A finals and right back into code S. He does exceedingly well in everything enters. If you ask ANYONE the question; whose the most consistent player? Every single person should be picking MVP. Nerd is the definition of consistency, and pretty obviously the best player in the world, based off of pretty much any standard.
and this is coming from a protoss player and major hero/huk fanboy.

Yes i agree with you. I just pulled whatever i could remember from the last couple of months. Just forgot about WCG and Providence ^^
The only player who has been consistently at the top is Mvp. One could argue that NesTea is as consistent(since he's basically won every GSL where he wasn't knocked out by Mvp) but he seems to be slacking off a bit lately. It's probably too soon to judge though, but he didn't do as well as most people expected in both Providence and GSL RO16. We'll see after Code A tomorrow.
No Protoss player compares to Mvp in consistency.

I know you were, I was just adding to your list to prove the point. I'm pretty sure NesTea is most peoples second choice, and I agree. But the lack of really any results outside of the GSL (not even the GSTL) really seems to hurt his credentials.
Hero's consistency is hurt by his nerves, even though his skillcap seems to be higher then any player I've seen of every race. Huk also suffers from these bizarre jet lag infused tournament showings where he just sorta loses to players not as good as him, and he makes an early exit, while at other times he just makes an MLG look easy.
But neither of these two are "really" what you could describe as consistent.

Isn't Idra's new build/aggression better that his macro style previously? I think this could finally make him competitive vs. Koreans.
|
Yes, i did say HuK is more consistent because he has been placing top 5 in almost every MLG he did exceptionally well in DreamHack he also won two of the 6 MLG events. And he has a bad Placing at NASL which everyone knows and yes i did say hero is more consistent then MVP. Hero is by far one of the best protoss players in the world if not the best.
I can say this because he has been placing top in almost every single NASL along with Puma and Hero could of taken NASL Finals away from Puma if not for nerves like Russano said. But every player has a bad day or bad match and you cant blame them for doing bad no player is going to win every tournament.
@Banshee Okay MVP is consistent but HuK has beat almost every single korean player in so many tournaments he has entered he won DreamHack 2011 Spring, 2x MLG Winner, and i dont know which other events he has won but he has lots of titles under his belt.
@Keyboard Warrior Idra has kinda changed his play style more from macro play in a aggrestion build has he has been going roach, infestor, muta alot lately and that is what costed him at NASL against Puma is the aggrestion switch.

He has a lot of patience and a great game sense.
however, I have learned to not judge how good a player is by their stream. I have become a fan of far too many players because I saw them crush some random guy on the ladder in some funny way or because they won 10 games in a row.

Puma did exceptionally well in NASL but one thing i noticed is Hero could of played so much better not saying he did bad but i know that hero can beat Puma. I think nerves got to him a bit so he lost momentum going into the last couple games.
And i never judge pro players by their streams i judge them by their performance in events and also how mannered they are like HuK is amazing and is good mannered and has beaten almost every top korean in the world. So HuK for sure is my favourite player along with Hero and Puma and also Idra just because his play style is amazing.

And would you argue that Mvp hasn't beaten pretty much every single Korean player he meets? The guy is 108-48 in Korean TLPD dude.
HuK is just consistently mediocre(compared to a guy like Mvp). He is able beat pretty much anyone on a good day, but I would never consider him a favorite versus one of the top Koreans. He has also bombed out of some events way quicker than he should(like losing in the group stage of Assembly Summer).
It's a pretty stupid argument. Mvp is simply a better and more consistent player than HuK. I think that basically anyone who follows all the major events will agree with me. If you want to continue the discussion, feel free to PM me.

Why is USA only sending 1 player (idra) to WCG when they have 3 slots reserved?

Is it me or is SC2 fucking random? When I'm about to destroy one of enemies or get good ground army, I suddenly see either DT's or blinked stalkers in my base...
