true, but not very deep. think for the future. if popularity decides about the income chances for players, you should better give them a chance to get popular instead of abusing this popularity -.-

Irrelevant point, it is an invitational. Popularity already determined the income chances for the players by inviting them to begin with. Players have plenty of opportunities to get popular since the vast majority of tournaments are qualification-based/open-bracket, not invitational format.

You must hate all-star games. I know many have complained about the quality of the all-star games in the nhl but I don't see many question the voting process.

The prizepool and its distribution should not matter to spectators.
That's ridiculous. All aspects, including prize pool distribution, effect how successful a tournament is. By your logic we shouldn't care about player treatment or stipends or whether tournaments pay out on time or a year late. We want successful tournaments, we want successful esports, therefore it all matters.

lol he did by the time I wrote that. He donated 20 probes and basically gave dimaga the game. You did watch the game right?
EDIT: There you go TB just confirmed Huk didn't know that third base of Dimaga and donated half his probes.

Does not matter? Hell no.
Theres a reason Valve hosted a 1M Dota tourny, not a 5k. I can agree that logically it shouldnt matter, but humans arent very logical. Usually its better to accept the way humans work and adapt to that rather than trying to please them the way you think they should work.
(That was in regards to distribution not mattering, not regarding 14k prize pool would be better. Im not saying it would be better with 14k rather than 10k, but its a valid opinion though)

Yeah, but I think it was balanced before that.. Huk made some mistakes early on, then started playing better for a while and then threw the game away.

You think wrong. He was on the lead by the time he donated his probes. It was three bases vs three bases and dimaga was massively behind on upgrades and had no tech whatsoever asides the spire.
