(Idra) Rofl you say many players that switched races when they switched games yet you name one. Look at all the players that switched from bw that still play the same race: nestea, mvp, nada, mc, julyzerg, boxer, ret, tyler, jinro, and many more i cant think of .... is it really necessary for me to research and find other examples? Do you really think Idra was the only one? More stayed the same then switched. Big deal. I simply threw out a possibility. Geez. Your mockery is so well placed! In fact I better go edit that just so you are happy I think! Ill get right on that!

I hope so. TSL is one of my favourite teams in SC2, because they feel like a team. They need some more love

Oh god.
We are ALL doomed!!
Very exciting news regardless!!!

Ive think ive read a quote somewhere from bisu saying that he would pick terran if he is going to play for money and protoss if he is playing for fun.. (with the current balance) Oh i'd have the same worry however they wouldnt likely be big in sc2 or seriously in it till HoTS anyways so its impossible to say who will be strongest then.... I hope they all pick protoss I need some sweet builds to copy.

i kind of want to soak my head in a meat grinder right now... even if it's only the b-teamers switching that means fewer quality practice partners for the a-teamers and a decrease in quality of BW games. and if it's an en-masse switch then kespa will have killed broodwar with a single stroke. that is fucking bullshit that kespa would just kill a game with such a history like that.

I'd love to see Bisu play protoss and show us the way of Aiur

When Jaedong Bisu and Flash all switch to Terran. is time to fire Dustin Browder.

This is AWESOME! Having a BW and SC2 proleague will strengthen the BW fanbase in the foreign community for sure, and it's not like BW is going away.

I fear that this might lead to a massive exodus of the current top tier Starcraft 2 players, being switched and replaced by either A/B-Teamers. I suppose the fact that there's many B-Teamers who switched over to SC2 (Ganzi, Losira, MC and Nestea). I believe MVP was the only relevant A-Teamer to switch over aside from ForGG (oGsFin).
This is good for SC2... only if its done later or at a gradual pace. I do not think an explosion of mass sponsorship and players is a good thing, unless you enjoy seeing our current players be pushed all the way down to Code B, assuming there IS a mass switch. It may work if its just B-Teamers from BW.
I don't want BW to die either so I think negatively of the news, despite the hype surrounding it.

I am really happy to see this, but I hope the players that train for sc2 are b teamers.
I wouldn't want bw to die because some of the best players started to play sc2, I prefer to see both games continue to live together.

worst case scenario: KESPA still hates gretech, blizzard etc and will make proleague same time as GSL so old sc2 teams play GSL and old bw teams play proleague sc2 ... that would be SUPER bad !

Lets hope the foreigners can keep up thats all i want

I highly doubt any high-profile, big name BW pros will switch over but we will see lesser pros who don't really have a chance to play in Pro League begin the SC2 divisons for their respective teams. If anything, this probably means that the Dream League is dead.

I dont know about that, i could be wrong since i dont follow BW but what i get is the BW scene is dead to the foreign community. It would take a lot to bring it anywhere near the level that sc2 scene is anywhere outside of Korea.

What he means is that if KeSpA started broadcasting SC2 proleague next to BW PL then foreign fans might also be interested in tuning in for BW which would be before or after SC2 if they do it right.

Let's read the OP folks:
BW Champions, players A and B are also the top players at SC2 within their teams: "We are practicing by watching GSL matches. If we start for real I think we'll be able to become top players soon".
If watching GSL counts as practice then we have plenty of progamers in the making. That article is a joke, besides I suppose it's not allowed to have excerpts translated here.
