Commentating. Honestly he is probably trash. Nal_Ra was hinting about going back to progaming, and a ton of pros started watching his replays and thought that he was an amateur. I think he's a much better commentator than player at this point in his life.

He managed to beat Flash though

then proceded to lose the next couple games

Yeah, the next 10 games if I remember correctly (at least the KT coach told Flash that he had to win 10 games to make up for his loss). Anyway, I think he has a fairly good chance to become decent in SC2 if he takes the game seriously, but I don’t see that happening.

I think if they play in a foreign event, it could weed out those who are honestly losing interest from those who sort of feel like they are unnoticed or demotivated.

They're talking about people who have played a race in SC2 then switched during their SC2 pro career. Morrow, Byun and Artosis are the only ones I know of.

Morrow is kind of hybrid, if i'm well remembered he doesn't play ZvZ.

He played ZvZ for awhile, but was notoriously bad at it. He eventually switched back to TvZ because he hated the matchup. All the tournaments his participated in since has allowed him to pick Terran against a Zerg but racepicking shouldn't be allowed in tournaments though.

That is bullshit, in a balanced game there is no reason to ban race picking.

That is bullshit, in a balanced game there is no reason to choose another race for each matchup.

There is something called fun~_~

Well, im sorry, sarcasm get lost on the internet. i was just trying to say maybe there could be valid reasons you know?

i think the logistic reasons are kinda valid, what if 2 zerg players dont wanna play ZvZ and wanna choose T, BUT only if the other player choose Z, so who gets to choose first?

Player 1: Hey, I'll play T, you Z?
Player 2: Eh, I think my TvZ is a bit stronger than my ZvT
Player 1: Ok, I'll play Z, you T.

Wow, what a logistics nightmare.

If they were so easily swayed, there would be no Protoss left in Brood War now.

Even in SC2, no progamer has actually switched race have they? Artosis I suppose, but I don't feel like he really counts. Otherwise the only thing that comes to mind is Gumiho and GuineaPig switching from Random.

TLO Switched from Random to Terran to Zerg to Random then back to Terran.

Just curious what do you do if say player 1 plays TvZ, ZvP, ZvT and player 2 plays ZvZ, ZvP, PvT?(perhaps rare but still)

Also Byun switched from Protoss to Terran. This is probably the biggest example of a major player switching.

KT coach told Flash jokingly that Flash had to pack his bags, then told Nal_Ra to beat Flash again. Nal_Ra couldn't do it, but he did get a new Qsenn from KT

second tier? back in his prime, he was the best terran in the world, only held back by a certain zerg that shall remain nameless.

Really annoys me when people don't understand how things like this work, and think that just because - for example - NaDa's results at the end of his BW career, when he was unmotivated after having - you know - won everything there was to won.... mean he was "2nd tier".

This thread is annoying as fuck to read btw, so many complete idiots -_-

I was referring not to nada but midas, idiot -_-

You seriously said Jinro was an idiot did you ?

Yea you're right I may should not have, I can understand his frustration he probly wont even have a shot in code A anymore if all bw players hop in sc2

When I get code A again, I will perma ban you.

I eagerly await next season and the reason for the ban linking to this thread :D

translation please?

See the OP. Clefairy already translated it. The pics basically just show someone's friend list with a couple (alot actually) of BW progamers real names. Since in Korea you can't make an account without a korean Social Security Number and that forces you to use your real name.Unless there were 20+ people with similar names to the progamers, then it's very likely the players listed in the OP are playing SC2.

If anything, 'How could you miss the very first post' just referred to 'how the fuck did you miss the obvious shit'

All things aside, from what I know, Proleague starts in November. However, KeSPA loves announcing things about week before everything happens. So until they announce everything, the players are going to keep practicing.

Cause they don't know when KeSPA will add SC2 Proleague, or actually integrate it as 'StarCraft' Proleague.

(Clarifying again: Players playing SC2 doesn't mean anything until KeSPA says: WE'RE ADDING SC2)
