already in the game for protoss: good scout? check. (observer) early game melee/tank? check. (zealot) lategame melee/tank? check. (archon, immortal) ground harras? check. (DTs and all kinds of unit warp-ins via proxy pylon or prism) air harras? check. (phoenix, voidray) heavy air? check. (voidray, carrier) ranged ground? check. (stalker, sentry) siege unit? check. (colossus) anti caster? check. (HT, Feedback) aoe caster? check. (HT, Storm) mobility support? check. (warp prism) army support? check. (mothership, sentry) this leaves me with absolutly no clue about the role of this new unit, but I doubt it`s a simple DPS unit. It looks like a flyer though. | ||

Pretty sure Blizz already stated protoss lacks in the ground harass department (i tihnk the word the used was that protoss lacked "raiding" possibilities), that is a fast somewhat disposable ground unit that is good for killing workers, think zergling/reaper/hellion The problem with zealot/stalker warpins is that they require a prism and neither stalkers nor zealots are that good at killing workers, zealots can be ran away from and stalkers dont have the dps. And they arent as disposable as marines or zerglings. This might or might not be a unit filling that role, but Im pretty sure Protoss will get some kind of buff/change in that area. | ||
