might be some hydralisk roach fusion :D You sir are thinking of the Hydraroach, I doubt blizzard would add it because it would be too overpowered.

I really hope it's not though, maybe the huge abdomen means it lays eggs or something, Queen-style. And maybe those eggs explode.

My only criticism would be regarding the color scheme, as pure purple does seem to be an incorrect color scheme considering that the unit appears to be a Hydralisk morph, so a similar color scheme can be expected.
On the other hand, I'm kinda iffy on whether or not I would like the unit to be such a direct copy of the Terran Siege Tank.

If this unit isn't fantastic and doesn't preserve racial diversity, we need to give blizzard hell until we get lurkers or scourge.
|
imo it's the evolution of hydra into lurker, they look alike
|
It's a new tier one anti-air unit. The shell thing on the back is actually a SAM launcher.
|
We can only hope that it will be a useful unit, unlike everything zerg has atm...

I'm waiting for a Banjo Kazooie mix.

Why are we assuming it is a ground unit?

Because it obviously has legs. How the hell would it fly?

Ground AA is bad, hydras already exist and zerg should have air aa and not ground. Maybe a hydra replacement? I hope not, just make hydras one supply and nerf accordingly.

wow nice guesses! i think its probably hydralisk related since they need more love and hydralisk den tech should be able to get up to hive tech, like spire can be a great spire and make tier 3 BLs etc., that way hydralisk den and spire would be like opposite choices; one is slow, defensive, AA, but powerful, the other is weak, fast, harass, anti ground
|
It honestly looks like a hydra roach combo morph because of the armor and the hydra mouth. Definitely ranged because the back is elevated for range and you can see a little cannon like feature.
