The two TSL Terrans will be participating in the Open Bracket according to Milkis.
OrangeMilkis Wooju Lee Polt and aLive will be attending MLG Orlando Open Bracket.
Great to see more Koreans coming over.
How does TL think they will do in the open bracket?
http://twitter.com/#!/OrangeMilkis
Edit: Send us some Non-Terrans!!!!

I can't see either not making it out. They're both pretty solid.

MKP and Polt together at Orlando should be fun.
Both should more than likely get through the open bracket easily if they don't hit another Korean. Polt should be one of the favorites to win it if he makes it to the pools.
Also it's amazing how much the Prime uniform has transformed in the past year. They went from cowboy shirts to fashion models in hoodies.
|
So I guess Alive should probably just stay in the states for this week and own up the NA ladder :D

I was thinking the same thing about the uniforms as i was searching for pictures for the thread

aLive and Polt are gonna be there. Now the Korean roster is just becoming stacked. This is imba Oo.....
Korea = GG

we need more non-terran korean to come.
|
So two more deadly korean terrans that are going to slaughter the open brackets. I hope everyone is gonna be practicing harder than they were before.
|
Looks like polt is going to win another major tournament.
|
Polt.... He's going to own this mlg like np

Some Zerg shows up in the open bracket called Dr.Pepper. Starts kicking ass. Pull off jacket. Turns out its is Nestea. Disqualified for advertising wrong beverage....

I don't know about that. He's probably going to place top 3 but he went 0-2 versus Bomber their last match, so I still think Bomber's the favorite.
|
Well, polt's gonna win....
|
This is cool and all, but I would like to see some nonterran koreans fly over, theres always such a heavy korean T presence it would be nice to mix it up

Nah, even as a gigantic Polt fan, Bomber is the strong favorite. Polt and him had a great TvT a few tournaments ago, and Polt's bio play will be stronger with the patch, but it is still his first foreign live event.
Also Hero is the only protoss I can remember not named Killer to beat Polt in a series. So I wanna see those two play.
And say what you will about TSL after the FD/Trickster/Puma drama, but they do send a lot of their best players to foreign tournaments. Killer to IEM NY, JYP and Revival to IEM China, Alive to IPL and now Orlando, and Polt to Orlando as well. The only main player that they haven't sent overseas in the past month is Clide.
|
Go Polt! Love that guy! Even though he left my favorite team ;~;

The GSL has been a Terran fest. The 99% foreigners at MLG aren't really going to put up much of a fight. It would be really nice to see more Zerg and Protoss bring their game and see how dominating those races can be. It's not going to help the balance whining one bit!

Awesome! I hope the crowd is nicer to Alive at MLG, according to djwheat he feels sorta left out and ignored at IPL3 compared to the other Koreans.
So excited to see Polt boss up the open bracket, I'd love it if he won the whole tournament using only marauders to Artosis' great dismay. On the other hand he better not run into MKP and ruin his fun this tournament or else.
|
It reminds me Korean Netizen continuously insists they should send only terran players to foreign tournaments until foreigners and Blizzard realize Terran imba.
|
Damn. 3 top-level (Code S) Terrans in the open bracket? Hopefully they don't end up knocking each other out. GOGO MKP, aLive, and Polt!

Welp. Terran top 8 >_< I can't think of all the players off the top of my head but with the addition of these 2 I'm sure I'm not over-stretching too far.
But this is very cool for TSL. I hope this means we will get to see SangHo and Clide at MLGs very soon (Providence! Make it happen TSL) because those 2 are my heroes! <3

I want to see Polt win something again, the dude is so baller.

we definitely need more terrans to get an all korean terran top6

Nice to see that Alive has another shot. He underperformed quite much in the NASL grand finals and now in the IPL3, however those were tournaments where he earned his spot in the finals by going through a hellish qualifer! So I am very eager to see somebody giving him another chance!

MKP Polt finals. Polt wins and Kong curse continues! ^^
Looking forward to Polt tearing up the Open bracket and hopefully making the finals!

Good luck to them, pretty sure they'll make it through easily.

You guys do realize that in GSL August 32 of 64 players were Terran and 28 of 64 players in GSL October were Terran (and there hasn't been less than 27 Terran players in the GSL since January).
So if players from the GSL come over, they have a very high chance of being Terran.

Yeah you're right, they should send people with less of a chance of winning. If people are tired of Korean's winning events they should learn to beat them, not ask for easier opponents.
|
So, we're only around 10 Koreans short of having GSL @ MLG, at this point.
I get the feeling that, next year, MLG is actually going to be a harder tournament than GSL, given it's over 3 days rather than a month...

Alicia had already been near the bottom of a slump which he's arguably still in. Polt is good right now and is a GSL champion. I'd give him a 9/10 chance

Don't you think there's enough Korean Terran's going already, seriously?

Leenock, Sage, Oz and Curious pl0x, so at least top 8 will not be korean Terrans

Hopefully MKP and Polt are on diffrent levels of the open bracket. Will love both of them to make it to the different group stages.

sigh... i'm never getting out of the open bracket

Why always these koreans terrans? Terran is already so strong, them being korean is just too much... Invite some pro korean tosses or zergs more often please! :/

Polt is overrated.
Overrated. But still solid. Def make it out of open unless he hits some korean or a strong player.
Alive has a good shot to I think.

argh so many korean terrans.
TvT is a fun matchup but I do not want to watch it for an entire day.

FUCK YEAH, POLT. I know he has many haters, but he's sick good. Alive is another great addition. Great news. :D

MKP, Polt, aLive. some beastly terrans in that open bracket

why terrans. after a while of watching terran after terran after terran it gets pretty old.

Open brackets = NO INVITE

the real questions is: why are they bothering? Did TSL get some sponsors that want foreign exposure? It can't possibly be for the prize pool what with flight costs.

I get to watch Alive all-in more? How am I so lucky?

Indeed. Most TSL players are underrated imho.
At the moment TvT is pretty interesting as it's still regularly changing due to the recent match so to be quite honest, I really don't mind watching a shit ton of TvTs to see what the players came up with for some a big event.

Well luckily this doesn't really matter for MC, since these 2 will make the group stages. The only competition MC has to get through to get to Code S again is just Hero who I think he can beat.

You're asking a handful of the best north americans and some mid tier pros to take on upper code S level koreans? it would be a lot more interesting if people like morrow/mana/etc came over. there's just barely anyone capable of taking a good korean out of the open bracket at these tournaments.

MC didn't do so well in IPL 3...neither did HerO. He's going to have a difficult time at MLG.

Polt and Alive will make it into Pool play without a doubt lol. Don't know what the discussion is all about xD

I really like this TSL decision of sending players to MLG!!!

the talent pool at this MLG is just ridicules.

Great for MLG to get more people to fly over to compete, but can't say I am super excited to see more terrans t.t

Also, <33 polt

Seriously, Polt imba. Also, Bomber and even Mkp, altho I think his bio is a lil rusty atm, if he slippes in late game vs mech.

Well, one of those two is going to be defeated by the other and achieve an overall ranking of #33-36 at MLG Orlando. More room for MC to get back in code S I guess...
