Sweet prize pool!!
So there will be 2 days of pool play? Cool, I'm liking the idea.
|
Will be awesome! Sase said on his stream that he's going, I hope Mana does the same thing! I also hope less Koreans decide to forfeit in the last minute T__T
|
This is gonna be pretty sick. The players that are already qualified could make a pretty damn good tournament just by itself. Hype is starting NOW!

it would be cool to give the numbers as well in dollars.
|
This makes me proud being a Swede, Dreamhack always puts on great tournies. Abit top heavy price pool! If Nada and Boxer is coming im goin there for sure!
200 000 SEK = 28 229,45 USD 90 000 SEK = 12 703,25 USD
|
No open bracket BYOC style? That sucks for people like me.
|
200000.0 SEK = 29490.6087157 USD google like a baws

doesn't take much skill to google something like "currencies" and you'll pretty surely end up with some tool that can do that for you

There is always the online qualifier
|
Oh yeah! DreamHack Winter 2011!! DreamHack almost never disappoints, can't wait to see all the great games!
Will the games from the Online Qualifiers be broadcast? I hope so!
|
How can it be two winners from summer BYOC? One mustabe winter? or maybe it was top two GL to everyone who participates, I'll watch for sure!

there was 1 byoc each day at the summer tournament if i recall, day 2 & 3 winners got qualified for winter, the top 2 the first day got into the main tourney.

yeah but, I don't expect to win any of those spots, so I won't be going there to play. Would've been cool if they'd held the "qualifier" there as a BYOC instead of online.

Its great to see top8 receiving prize money. While still not as good as the standards some tournaments like NASL and even greatly IPL are trying to set, it is much better than dreamhack's previous top4 only.

im signing up. wish me luck guys!

Well, if there would be a BYOC qualifier, I'd expect it to be really hard as well. I'm thinking of something akin to the MLG Open Bracket. That said, it would be 10 000 times more fun to play the qualifier on location!
