That would be epicly amazing as I dont like to memorize or write down BOs. This app will help all the nooblets out there by calling out what to build. Edit: someone already mentioned this. Ps if you dont make this app i will eventually, once im free and not lazy. I would do this, but I also see a tool like this as a crutch. At least with static build orders you have to remember it and be able to do it unassisted a lot easier. I'll look into it though. At the moment I have to prioritise what is the greater need so this might not make it into the initial release, but its something i would want to include later down the line ![]()

1. The ability to easily watch streams fullscreen in ANY orientation, depending on how I hold my phone. Firstly, it's kind of annoying to browse tl.net for streams in the web browser, when I try to hit the fullscreen button of the flash thingie, I get taken to twitch.tv more often than not because I did not hit the button. Secondly, when I go into fullscreen, the screen does not change orientation when I tilt my phone. 2. The ability to easily monitor blip.tv and youtube channels. First take a look at http://blip.tv/day9tv/rss . It has a MP4 media file attached to every post, which would be natively supported by the "Streaming Media Player", but there is no fucking app on android that correctly displays all media files attached to a RSS stream, only the first one (in this case the .flv). The blip.tv site does not have a mobile version and the flash interface for the videos is ridiculously bad on the mobile web browser. Secondly, youtube channels are not that high of a priority since it works very well on Android already, but it could be included for the sake of having all VODs in one place. I personally don't need anything else.

How far along with the project are you?as all programmers do i have a ton of other things going on but I'd say I'm well along the way, the app is more of a shell with a browser in it because you kind of have to do that for streaming video from the internet. I'm at a crossroads whether or not to scrap a native app and just do a webapp optimized for different platforms depending on the useragent string. keep in mind if you want to make something natively for iPhone its gonna be a PITA. so its good you are sticking to android. in fact viewing streaming video in the iPhone is such a pain considering the fact that mobile safari opens videos in an embedded 'standard video viewing app' thingie.

Ah yeah, i understand. We all have lots going on! I really appreciate the want to help out though . No wonder people give back to the SC2 community so often! The main reason I'm sticking to android at the moment is because I'm currently doing a mobile development module where we use Android. I also own an android and have coded mainly in Java for the past few years, so its the clear choice. Also, objective-c scares me ![]()

At work I've always the TL event thread open and refresh it every time I can to see the latest results in currently ongoing tournaments. I'd love to have a feature that gives me notice about just finished maps including the result. Second place would be the TL Upcoming events list. Not really a calendar but just a few events of the next maybe 36 hours. Third place would be streams. Like the TL stream list to the right. But I rarely watch stream on my phone and I don't watch VODs at all.

Thanks for the input 20 chars ![]() The upcoming events list could actually be part of the calendar module included on the app. I'll likely want to add some kind of feed beside it if no dates are selected. Great idea!

Just thought I would let you know that the project proposal has been accepted so I will begin development shortly. I will probably need a few volunteers in the near future to test different aspects of the program. If you would be interested in participating in the testing of the app please reply below and I'll PM you when the time arises ![]() Thanks!
