For example i have my phone sitting next to my comp, and I am playing protoss. I have three builds stored, ffe, 3 gate expo, and 3gate robo, i start the game, see zerg, so i hit the FFE button and it starts that guide, which goes through it timing by timing to the mid game. If it reminded me to make probes so i can avoid queuing and reminded you to pull a probe from mining to start a building on time, or to use chronoboost, and maybe it can even store common timing attack warnings (zerg timing attack likely in 1 minute), it would go a long way to polishing the game for people still learning.

I think it would be nice to have live streams available of pro players, along with pro build orders for each race.

Something that tells you when a tournament is about to start and gives your notifications, lets say, 1 hour before, then 15 minutes, then 5. Also something that can give you updates while your away from your computer, and it would give you bracket updates of the tournaments you are following as well. It would also notify you when lets says, you're streaming one game or just unable to watch games, it will notify you that player x has just gone 1 game up on player y. Or player x has just lost to player y. Kind of like the live feed that MLG has when you're watching their stream on their website. This is probably very difficult, but yeah, something like this would be pretty awesome and useful. I am in masters. By tournaments do you mean tournaments you're involved in or tournaments you can watch? I think I would implement this in conjunction with the calendar and perhaps supply a news feed on the main page that pulls the info from the calendar. Perhaps I can include an option to set a reminder on a certain event tied to the calendar. Does this sound like what you meant?

Some have already been written (e.g. Evolution Chamber), but it would be quite an impressive feat for you to write one for a final project - the numerical complexities are not trivial.

![]() VODs and Streams would be great (although VODs is already seriously covered by sc2casts). A way to get your battle.net stats could be pretty sweet too! kind of like an integration of sc2ranks or something similar but I would be very careful in terms of storage and performance... you don't really want to have to be worried about massive servers costs and continuous routines running through day/night to gather data... as an advice try to integrate with as many APIs as you can so that you can rely on what other services already do (and allow you to access obviously).

Tournaments you are in, would only be applicable in online tournaments, since they actually have set times and often over several days, while LANs, matches can be scheduled whenever and not necessarily posted online where your app would need to pull information from. Though I do miss some of my tournament matches in qualifying rounds since I have school and am often busy. So a tournament notifier for online tournaments would be nice too.

Also, if you could somehow make something that would allow me to watch GSL on my android phone I would be eternally grateful... Right now it is only available for iOS, so maybe an iOS emulator or something that GOMtv would recognize and let me watch the live matches I pay for!!! :-)

I understand if your first release thats not possible but maybe in future additions Thats what I'm eventually aiming for . At the moment however I'm just making a list of priorities having some core functions and some "icing" for the cake in due time after the initial release. Thanks everyone so much for your feedback. You have no idea how useful this information is for me .
