1. HuK/Stephano/IdrA can't decide. Stephano is almost always good, IdrA is really good atm and HuK is good in periods I think.
2. SaSe
3. ThorZaIN
4. MaNa
5. SeleCT, NaNi, Dimaga.

SeleCT, NaNi, Dimaga. im not sure we can consider stephano yet, he has only really done well in a couple tournaments. I think his lack of world wide exposure has certainly helped him, as idra mentioned in inside the game, its a different style that people haven't seen before, and as such haven't quite adapted to it yet, the question of if he is one of the top players is if he can adapt to the adaptation or if he'll fall off once his style is figured out.

Wow, so many crazy 1st place finishes! If you want to ONLY go off of victories, Huk makes Thorzain look like a total scrub nub. Id put Stephano in third. Hes an awesome player and he might even be the best at the moment, but he has to prove that he can stay on that level.

I'm pretty sure a player needs to do more than that to be crowned best foreigner. Same with Thorzain, 1 online tournament win. Although I do agree with you to a certain amount. Stephano was already hyped up before the tournament, it isnt as much this one win its people that watch him reguraly that know he is one very scary zerg (I can see their point). But I feel its to easy to say that X players are the best atm. Think it will take a few years and a lot of tournaments before we can determen that kind of drastic accusations. Also, Nerchio is very underrated in this thread, NERCHIO!! edit: typo

I'm still trying to figure out why HuK isn't considered the best overall foreigner and Protoss in the world by everyone.... and everyone said I was wrong and that I only think that because I am from the US

1) HuK 2) Stephano 3) IdrA Maybe Thorzain at the fourth spot? Not too sure. It's a close pack behind the top three in my opinion. I put Stephano above IdrA because I believe that Stephano has as good of a ZvT as IdrA, much better ZvP, and a substantially better/more consistent ZvZ. (I would also bet on Stephano to win in a ZvZ BO3 against IdrA)

That makes me happy. All the talk about the game being imbalanced I really think people put to much in ups and downs between the races and shifts in the metagame. Sure protoss is at a low right now, but MLG still ended up in a PvP finals. Ofc it was only a P that won becauseu IMMvp didn't show, but one guy being better doesnt make his race imbalanced. My personal top 3 reflects the current top 3 in the poll: ThorZain, HuK and Stephano. Hard to compare people's skill across races. They play very different styles and all have areas they really stand out in.

Stephano is obviously good and all, but you can't be serious in trying to put him above idra or huk when he just entered the tournament scene.

A while back i would have said he was the best foreigner (like when he 2-0d IdrA etc) however he did almost beat DongRaeGu in a bo5 ![]()
