Definitely not obvious, but one could make a very convincing argument based on MLG results. Stephano won IPL which had slightly stronger competition than IEM (although Idra faced monsters in Puma and Revival). I gave Idra the edge slightly just because I was so impressed with the straight wins over HongUn and Bomber, and also playing MC and MKP very, very close. Honestly either player would be very good, and hopefully we'll see both accept their spots into Code A (if Stephano gets an invite). Personally I think consistent Code S + a win in the MLG against top-level competition is the most important, so I'll go... 1) Huk 2a) Idra 2b) Stephano I can't believe people keep picking Thorzain. He hasn't had any international top performances recently, and got beat by Idra in the RO32 in the IPL. He lost in Code A and while he did do well in the GSTL, those were BO1s against sometimes non-top Korean play.

He can 2nd in DH Valencia less than 1 month ago where he beat hero and huk before losing 2-3 to DRG.

After IPL " OMG, look at Stephano this guy is the best" After MLG " Don't be fool, Huk is the best, he's the most accomplish one ! " ._. On October 17 2011 21:02 shell wrote: well idra, huk, stephano are the 3 best foreigners right now! based on latest tournament results! Thorzain and naniwa would complete my top5! What i would like to know is why foreign terrans suck so much compared to koreans? Mechanics. Terran is all about that. You can be a godly tactician and have great results with Terran ( that's how players like Goody, Sjow or even Thorzain are here ) but perfect mechanics just put the race to another level.

Those convinced that HuK is the best foreigner (me for example, and for a long time :p) will not shit on IdrA and Stephano's victories by saying "OLOLOL that guy is definitely not the best!" and will remain somewhat silent. However when HuK gets a big win, we celebrate and throw around confettis, fireworks and omgbonjwas. I don't think people's opinion swing that easily ![]()

Also makes people way too biased for those who are in the spotlight. Take Sen, for example. He rarely makes it to western tournaments, but often the times he does he's a goddamn beast. There's no love for him now just because he wasn't at IPL, IEM, MLG, but I guarantee you next time we see him, we'll be reminded of this fact.

In light of the most recent results, it would have to be Huk with idra a close second. Stehpano would be in the top 5 and the only other player worth mentioning is thorzain. EDIT: the reason for a new poll would be because people can only vote once and the current poll was from two weeks ago (And a lot has happened since two weeks ago)

Second is much more difficult to acertain, but Huk should be considered the best non-Korean.

Huks PvZ is like most toss and his PvP are not that good. He got a good group without any PvP bosses like Sase, Inori or Oz. Idras ZvP is terrible (compared to his zVt) As far as overall skill goes I would put Tzain>Stephano>Idra>HUK. Nani or Sase are imo the only ones that can contend.
