I didn't say it was a tournament... but apparently it's literally just players there and they say "go play games" ... Again, I love the concept of this, bringing in top level players for intense training. But if there was more structure they might get more out of it? I don't know it's only been a few hours that's just the initial word I've heard from people who are there

I'd actually like to see more video of the tournament area. ^^ I agree, I was hoping for more of a Homestory Cup vibe. That's a tournament that could double, ambiance-wise, as a training session.

http://www.redbullusa.com/cs/Satellite/en_US/001243017356310 but what I don't understand is why Day[9] is teaching Pokebunny how to play during the game? Is this a fun event?

Genuinely didn't know about this event until I logged on at 2am or so but I'm actually enjoying it the most of the tournaments/events that are going on

Just waiting for him to sneak in a Funday Monday criteria to mess up the metagame. :-) "Okay, SLush, no more units, only spine/spore crawlers." "Poke, build Planetary in SLush's base."

Crap is being thrown on both sides though. Also the streams were very messy early on, sound issues mainly. They seemed to be cleared up so no issue. Interesting overall concept, but I think the shared chat room was a mistake. People cannot control their inner troll over the net like they can irl (people at events with shared areas wouldn't be like this, for fear of being smacked in the mouth imo).

As Day[9] said, the game was over, but rather than starting another game right away, they could practice a bit of this later-mid game push on both sides by not ending it right then. P.S. Not even looking at the chat. Rather deal with the manner folks on TL. :-)
