Stephano is a very, very good player. He is certainly among the top 5 foreigners, probably even the best. Without a question he is the most solid and highest achieving foreign zerg player. I also really hate him. He looks gay, he acts gay, everything he says and does sounds gay to me. For example not saying gg but something along the lines of congrats or the pink power ranger shit is the gayest crap I've ever heard in sc2. Not in the gay way of having sex with the same sex but in the way of acting like a faggot. In my opinion stephano is a huge faggot and I was happy when this millenium/complexity shit happened. I hope he doesn't win a single tournament. I would rather see CombatEX winning code s three times in a row with cannon rushes/voidray all-ins and proxy gates than stephano being on top 3 of a mlg for example.

I really don't like him and I wish him all the worst for his carrier and I'm very glad a lot of other people hate on him too because that tells me there is something utterly gay about him.

That would be a personal opinion and not a try to take anything away from him in order to talk down the solidity of his zerg play. Being an asshole takes nothing away of being a brilliant player.....Nobody can honestly deny that he is a astoundingly good player without making himself look stupid. Talking about how he is a faggot is something totally different.

Made my day thank you, although it doesn't make sense, i understand what you mean and agree about the gay thing. except i hope he does good in tournaments... btw career <---not carrier <3

thx for advise. And thanks on agreeing but this is not MY opinion it's just an example of what people could say to talk him down without making themselves look retarded. Because what they do at the moment (talking down every single step/play/achievement he has ever made in sc2) is retarded. At the moment there is nothing you can critizize about his play straightforwardly. He is succesful and he seems to have no problems to get to the top of korean gm at all. What can you critizise about this? No other player would be hated for that but here we have haters who try to make up something out of every single game that he lost on ladder but if he's succesful ladder doesn't matter of course........

Watch 4 hours of stream of some random grandmaster zerg and then watch 4 hours of stephano and you cannot talk down his play anymore.
I'm not a fan of him myself but I fully acknowledge how good he is and everybody who doesn't makes himself look like an idiot.

Thanks lasbike, but could you explain the apm thingy? How can someone gain 100 apm in three days?

Doubtfull he gained 100 apm, it would mean he has an average of 250~300 blizzard apm, and peaks over 500... That would be far above everyone else.

well that would be if he gained 100eAP/Not quite 1 minute. You would have to ask him tbh . It for sure looks like he's playing at a much faster pace

Well obviously he's talking real APM as suddenly gaining 100 eAPM or even 100 blizzard APM just like that would be pretty ridiculous LOL depending on where all that APM went to he have probably turned up his blizz apm anywhere between 5 and 40. Blizzard APM should never be looked at as it completely removes so much APM that's 100% legit at the same time as removing spam. I can actually see so much of actual micro APM and not spam just gone because blizzard apm is terrible

so yeah, he's probably talking real apm

Stephano won around 100 apm in 3 days, that's for real.We watched replays (against Maka for example). Before Korea he had like 250'ish APM "regular" in Sc2Gears.Now he's above 375.And i agree,Blizzard APM is terrible, don't trust that thing :D!Just come on Stephano's Stream,we are waiting for you guys !

After Blizzard Cup,we gonna release a ReplayPack of these games and we'll try to improve this stream by ...a lot :D.Webcam to see oGs house, and of course Stephano :p...Hope you'll enjoy it.

Maybe it's just that he has to use all his capacitys against koreans on ladder?
I mean on EU he probably doesn't need to play as fast as he can. Thus he didn't really "gain" apm he just used more of his "apm".

Finishing 5th or 6th in the Blizzard cup would already be a huge achievement, considering the players here and the fact the tournament is held in korea (koreans won't suffer from jetlag etc). Rational people are not saying he is the best of all, but definetly a world class zerg that can still improve a lot.

And that's true that he doesn't use lots of banelings now. Which is funny because he got famous in Europe some time ago for his burrow baneling style against terran.

Considering he'll have been there for more than a week I don't think that jetlag is an issue for any parties involved.

He was able to win quite good terrans (subsubtop EU) on steppes of war with burrowed banelings during the fight.
The good old times of Stephano during the go4sc2 on millenium stream :D

Just be qualifying is a huge achivement. Only 10 players in the entire world has done that. Its huge win or lose doesnt matter.

Yes.
I used this argument for koreans. When they go to international events, some of them don't look as strong as in korea (MVP or Nestea for exemple) because they suffer a bit from jetlag. No one will face this issue in Blizzard cup.

I agree. And furthermore, Stephano already proved that he is a great player (winning several EU tournaments, IPL3, amazing and consistent ladder, etc) so any place in BC is a good place.

He and some of the other foreigners will be facing the koreans in their 'natural enviroment' so they have even one more reason to play flawless and show the world what are they capable off. Even so no one can possible say with a straight face that there are 'bad' foreigners in BC.

thx for advise.

I don't get the why you don't look retarded by writing this, you do look retarded, sorry.

I don't get why people can't be honest. Why can't they say something about stephano along these lines:

Homophobe alert! Also, you shouldn't wish anyone the worst for their carriers or else they will cut the unit.

He was explaining how people could attack him without looking like retards. It's not his own opinion, which he stated a few posts above yours. Rushing to your pitch fork too soon!

Made my day thank you, although it doesn't make sense, i understand what you mean and agree about the gay thing. except i hope he does good in tournaments... btw career <---not carrier <3

Actually your example of a good post is a lot more "retarded" as its reads like something a 15-year old immature badass would write. Its also a direct personal attack at Stephano rather than commentary on his SC2 skills and thus has no place here, and makes me think you you just wanted to insult him and found a "clever" way to spout your inane bullshit.

Either way seems like you got what you deserved in a permban, good riddance.
