Impresssive.

One question: when he played the IPL qualifier, which server was it played on?

Cause that would keep it impressive, but take something away from it compared to straight up games with no lag.

You can't compare someone beating someone in a lan environment to someone beating someone in an online cross-server game, and say it shows equal skill ... it's still impressive, cause some of those players are insanely good, but lag DOES play a part.

(of the opinion while he is sickly impressive, he isn't as good as nestea losira drg julyzerg and probably sen - personal opinion).

They were all played on the NA server. Round 1 for koreans started at 3am for them, so the further koreans got the closer it got to sunrise for them.
Top 10 favourite pros: MKP, MVP, MC, Nestea, DRG, Jaedong, Flash, Life, Creator, Leenock

Qualifier #2 : Stephano was in Tunisia and had a worse lag than koreans.
Qualifier #3 : He was back in France.

Hint : He beat Sen at Assembly Summer.

I do still stand by my opinion though Having beaten someone once (dimaga nestea) doesn't make them better imho.

I just think he still needs to prove something more in lan tournaments - especially with more koreans, in order to judge roughly how good he is.

But I will say that atm I'd rate him slightly over Idra for example
edit: It's just an opinion, not claiming to know.

Damn that is an incredible ladder record. Going pro is just shooting him up. He is really starting to show that he truly is one of the top Zergs. Hope to see a lot more from this guy in the future.

Stephano beat MMA and Marineking (almost beat alive 2-1) so i think we could say his ZvT is better than a lot of Korean.

Only when he does it on LAN. All cross server results are meaningless.

Yeah, his weakest match up is definately ZvP.

The crazy thing is during that run he would often ask chat to tell him what strategy to use and would then execute it with perfection and essentially mess with his opponents. It's almost like there's a handicap on all his opponents. It's quite unreal.
