It's going to be a sign of the growth of SC2 as an e-sport when a player like major is not accepted on any teams anymore despite his skill.

Entitled clanhoppers are annoying in a hobby scene like BW but they're just plain bad business (as Boss pointed out earlier) in a professional environment like SC2.

Sixjax is such a shady company.

Penny auctions do not a legitimate business model make.

The really tragic thing is that people are willing to shit on MajOr at the first provocation without any real knowledge of the situation.

Especially when they apparently have an auto bidder to come around and rebid on cheap auctions.

And yes it is people should read his post, the guy wants to improve first and foremost as a player good mindset to have.

He wants a free ticket to Korea. One that he never earned or was entitled to.

Well im pretty sure he joined the team under the pretence that he would be sent to korea eventually. Although i dont agree with his actions i can understand where he is coming from, Sixjax keeps saying they are about to secure a deal and it keeps falling through so Major takes the initiative to find a team to let him stay at their training house and Sixjax still says no, all he needed was a plain ride , food and board would have been provided by NSHS.

If major wasnt so young he should have done the smart thing and tried to make sure he got something in his contract saying that they would send him to korea in the coming months, regardless though he breached his contract with a few (minor id say) misconducts so they have every right to deny him the requests (even if they promised it to him) and give him the boot.

Maybe Artosis knows something about NSHS that Major doesn't.

Maybe Sixjax knows that there are other teams that would be wiling partners, but they are doing they're due diligence and trying to create a partnership with the best team possible.

Maybe they are trying to find room and board not just for one selfish person, but their whole team.

There's possibly a lot of good reasons why Sixjax is taking "so long" to form a complex business deal with a foreign team. Of course, I've pretty sure it's been less than six months.

You seem to have a lot a faith in Sixjax.

Let me repeat myself. Their entire business model is a scam.

Feel free to elaborate, sir.

I freely admit that I don't know anything about sixjax. But I do know enough about business to know that developing a partnership with another business doesn't happen overnight, or even 3 to 4 months.

And quite frankly, Major has a reputation.

It's also not surprising when someone with a bad reputation, has opportunities that fall through without explanation. It tends to happen more so to those types of people in life.

Juan, though an outstanding player, couldn't meet the professional and ethical expectations of our sponsor and upper management.

Sorry, was this written by a Sixjax representative? Irony at it's finest.

I see the want to in your eyes.

Running a spellcheck and using some punctuation isn't too much to ask from a professional Starcraft player in his official statement of why he was dismissed from his team.

Then again, it's major.

Major shouldn't have joined a half assed team to begin with, Juan isn't as bad as a lot of people think and he has crazy potential to win some championships. He's friends with idra too, EG should snatch him up if they have any money left over from getting Huk hehe

Yeah, because shutting high level talent out of the game will help it grow! /sarcasm. Unless he pulls a Michael Vick incident, he doesn't deserve to get shut out and it won't happen.

Take a look at Shaq, one of the best Basketball players of all time, he team hopped, talked a whole lot of smack and yet he had no trouble finding teams even when his playing level had deteriorated.

That's completely overlooking if they didn't keep any promises, if they didn't that hardly makes him entitled and even if they didn't he doesn't have a limitless window to improve, if they aren't the proper environment for him to improve in then he should move on and cheers to him.

First of all, I don't think EG is looking to sign any more players, their roster is starting to get mighty big. Second of all, allthough EG isn't as worried about BM and such, I do think they take cheating and other stuff Major has done very seriously, so I dont think your wish will come true

Also i want to clear up some stuff they said i been asking for being realesed for over a month maybe longer since the first day i signed with sixjax they promised they would send me to korea as fast as possible, they apparently had a deal with IM about 2 months ago but it felt down, so i was dissapointed by that but they tried to find a new deal with another team , aka TSL which they basically said were inches to complete and felt again , made me to start doubting about ever making their making their promise right , the thing that made me the most mad was Last MLG when they send 0 players to MLG i asked for a reason and Evoli(team manager) asked the owner of sixjax but he apparently responded with wait a few days we have an annoucment to do, so i was kinda piss at that time than by my self i got in contact with NshoseoSAGE and after test games i was accepted in NSH house so i asked sixjax if they would willing to send me to korea and me staying in NSH for free(no food to pay rent or anyhthing), they said no and at that point i decided to leave and dont play for them anymore i told em i wouldnt accept anymore payments.

What's up with your spelling, brah?

He's so young!!! (and English isn't his native language so)

I'm younger and English ain't my native language either.

On-topic: I love Artosis and believe he has the best intentions but that doesn't mean it's fair to just tear apart Major immediately after his release from Sixjax, he clearly feels that he is a good player and wasn't getting supported sufficiently on the team he was on, he therefore chose to seek support elsewhere. Good for him.

Hold on, am i getting this right, but are you blaming Artosis here a little bit? How do you know Artosis made the call here? I would assume that he didn't. Sorry if i understood you wrong.

So no one knows the details about the WBC incident.

Both team and player are obviously at fault here. SJG doesn't have the high moral ground, even though they try to fake it. Juanito does not behave like a true professional. Both have a lot of growing up to do if they want to be taken seriously.

Whether you like majOr or not, sixjax failed to fulfill the promise to send him to Korea. They have parted ways. End of story.

I wish major luck on finding a new team and going to Korea.

Well, hard to say was there any official promises made or not when we haven't heard SixJax's side of it.

One thing is obvious: Major had an expectation from Sixjax that they would.

There's only two ways this can turn out:

1) Sixjax did promise as much. Then they reneged, and Major decided to part ways with the team as a result.

2) Sixjax didn't "officially" promise as much. Despite this, Major had the expectation that they would. When it became clear otherwise, he decided to part ways with the team.

In either scenario, Major made an appropriate decision.

This so many times. Either SJG didnt keep their promise or there was a miscommunication between the involved parties (which sounds strange because they tried to send him to IM & TSL). And they only had to send him to Korea (he organized everything else) which they would've needed to pay too, when the IM & TSL deals would've went through.
But when you realize there's a miscommunication or they're not able to fulfill the promise you quit. Simple as that.
You dont stay with your employer just because he's such a nice guy. Work-contracts are a buisness, you quit when you're not satisfied (or get fire if your employer is not satisfied).

Of course this doesnt excuse the SEA incident (and other stuff - but I dont know about that^^).

But maybe a Korean team (with a stern coach) is actually the best for him to basically grow up.

I still cant beleive they didnt send their players to MLG especially since artosis was there , youd think that would be the MLG they wanted to send their players too. Id be pretty pissed off if i was major as well, Sixjax cant even send their players to the easiest and cheapest lan to get too (in terms of major lans) It seems they are having some funding issues, and Thats not really majors problem or fault, im sure at the very least (beyond korea) he expected to be sent to every MLG, its a big deal to miss out on one with the championships coming up soon.

Like i said before, Sixjax next announcement will be "artosis and sixjax part ways"

He's too unprofessional for EG, to be frank.

People think that IdrA and Huk have 'attitudes', but when have you ever heard of IdrA or Huk not doing something they said they were going to do, or being anything but appreciative of their team and management? They're actually very disciplined.
