congrats to fenix, decent player but now he's playing with the BEST players in the world, ABSOLUTE best, i see him getting EXTREMELY good very soon. as for the whole scamming bullshit going on, pretty discouraging to see people looked up too stoop to something like that =[ "gogo esports fighting??"

Fenix is certainly not one of the best foreigners right now but didn't the IM head coach said that he saw a lot of potential in him ? He also said that Fenix had already really improved followings days he joined the IM house. I hope he make it to the Code A
MC ■ MarineKing ■ LosirA ■ To someone who has lost after trying his best, no words from the winner can console him.

My personal feelings about Fenix aside, I think this is a good path for the sc2 community. For one, a foreigner will get one of the best chances to train with high leveled players. For another, it's another example of the wall between Koreans and Foreigners breaking down.

This is awesome! One of my favorite foreign Terran joining up with one of the most baller Korean teams =D Glad to see that Korean-foreigner relationships are still in the high and that great contracts like these can be established.

I lost a little respect for him due to the whole scandal... but he still comes off better then the other people involved after they threw a temper tantrum on a public forum(it's really disappointing to see an organization like Fnatic let their players behave like that).

It's great to see such a big step for the "foreign" community, good luck Fenix!

This makes no sense to me. What does Fenix really bring to the team?
It's not like he is ever top 5 at MLG or any other major competition I have ever seen him in.
I dont know, maybe I am really ignorant and he is a lot better then I think.
I just don't see him in any way, shape, or form, a player who fits in talent/play wise with the IM team. I know they want foreign fans and foreign support, but why Fenix is my biggest question.

Congrats to him though. He is still a pretty good foreign pro.

Why would you think that?

Fenix is doing well in the team league.

QXC all killed IM's weaker players (and MVP) and i'd say fenix is on the same level as qxc.

QXC all-killed IM's weaker players and MVP.
And YOU would say Fenix is on the same level, but there is no evidence to support this.
If we can get Fenix to vs all of the same people, and win. Then I will agree with you. But there is nothing to support the claim that Fenix is on the same level of QXC until he accomplishes something similar.

Now if IM recruited QXC i would somewhat understand. But saying "Hey this foreigner beat a bunch of our players... we should recruit a random foreigner!" doesnt make much sense to me. (not to insinuate that Fenix is just any random foreigner, he is a talented pro foreign player still)

Lol QXC is not even in the same division as Thorzain, Naniwa & Fenix. Yes QXC performed very well against IM. But MVP played bad that game and QXC did what he could.
