That being said, I think it's wrong what MLG is doing. Milkis already has a very successful career as a candle maker and is currently in school learning robotics. I'd hate to think of what could happen were he pulled away in the name of "esports". Plus, there's no job security in SC2. I mean, just look at Brood War. It was just getting started and BAM, here comes StarCraft II just a few short years later. What will happen when StarCraft 3 comes out in 1-2 years? Different game, different translation needs. Milkis would find himself jobless and eventually homeless due to the recession. I think it's great that MLG is taking an interest in Milkis and his amazing translation abilities, but unless they're offering him a six figure income it's clear he can do better with his current profession. Candles are a multimillion dollar industry and esports is just a drop in the bucket comparatively. | ||
